Altair Blaster

Is this worth my Rt? I've got 37 left, and don't really see much of interest to spend it on. Altair's range is surprisingly nice, and it seems to me with the crossing beams it could be more useful than other blasters in arena.

Alpha Aquila, also known as Altair, is the brightest star in the Aquila constellation. Aquila itself represents an eagle, which is why you see eagle patterns on Altair from assassin's creed and eagle references on Aquila's flavor text.

Would be more popular among the players if it shot hooded assassins.

But in all seriousness, it does seem more likely for all the beams to hit due to how concentrated they are.

That's what I've been thinking, but from what I've heard it doesn't seem too good.

Then again, most of the people that I've heard from don't have it either.

if it works anything like the real akila it sucks for anything that isnt L sized bots

you will only get 1 or 2 beams on S units, usually the damage is laughtable. its damage should compare to a normal blaster however.

not worth it, just save the rt or spend it on another rt weapon
or mighty byne or buggsycait

It's stronger than aquila's with considerably more range. In fact, it has more range than a mini bazooka, surprisingly. 1 more force compared to his too.

i mistake read it as Alien Blaster

it's better if you can estimate the range correctly

at certain ranges the beams will focus to one spot, which makes it capable of dealing massive damage to any bot, large or not.

It's an ok weapon over all, but it's nice fire rate, and unique spread make it a decent weapon if you can get used to the pattern. The fire rate though makes it tear large bots a new one.

I think I'll buy one and throw it on my mecha jetter then. Thanks.

Well, either that or survey for 3 Rt more and throw it all at weekly gara.

normal blasters fire 7/8 bullets per shot, I forgot the exact amount.

Altair, if it's the same as Aquila's core, will only fire 5 shots at a time, considerably lowering its DPS against large targets like bastagnant bosses.

RT shop weapons tend to be crap (with an exception of a few)

so yeah,go for it.

is this the one that spews blaster like beams but ripples into the center and spreads again and centers again until it hits its longest range and vanish?

What is that actually?

Terrible weapon for questing (even worse than particle gun).

But for arena, one of the best spread weapon if you can use it properly : the bullets connect at a certain range, meaning you can even do all hit on small units. I estimate the band-range when all bullet can hit a S unit around 50, at the mid of the global range.

I'm pretty sure it can be awesome if used properly.

There's no reason to use blasters against bosses in the first place due to how derp their dps is compared to shotguns, so that's not a concern to me.

EDIT: Ahaha, just looked it up on JPwiki and altair blaster only fires four shots at a time. I think I'll just go back to praying for a big mountaiz AM2 >_>

Agreed. Only worthwhile weapons are the Railgun and the Accel Beam Gun.

That thing is epic against AIR... but need a lil bit more speed and a good small M sized bot to put on to.
