| Alright i would like to mention that frist im an completely newbie wen comes to world of VN ( i know the god tier VN and good ones and at all but never played any ),
i played today this game called galaxy angel, acording to the reviews, is an VN/strategy game/and sort of dathing sim too, ( but feeled more like starfox ) it took me an while to finish but, after finishing ( i got an good ending at all, along with 4 game overs too >_> ) i dont know i feel like, odd, i think its due of the character devolopement being so god tier ( for me at least, sinse i played many games before atempthing the same but this one make it god tier, altough its an VN so i guess is normal ) but not sure if is that, i know there VN readers around who readed way deeper VN though, so i ask, is normal to feel like this after finishing an VN,? altough
TL,DR
is normal to feel like i am currently for finishing the VN,? happy to see characters done with thier stuff and plot being done?

| if you have HEART you will sure ,and is natural to, want read more about the VN, and like the chars. some people dont like the endings, or find some VNs with lack of something. but if is your first VN, you may like it.
i have played so far 4 VN so i dunno about quality, but i find your reaction is ok.

| i be honest, i CAN be more specific but that woould involve telling game spoilers, and that wouldn be good, this game, i definitivaly loved the character devolopement with the main character, all gets absurdly sentimental, at the point that even me wanted to do something about their situation, and worst case is, noticed that everthing you do in this game and perhaps in many VN DOES afect everthing around you (i guess this can be common in some VN but yeah im impresed at this case ) so,currently doign and 2nd run sinse i still need 1 ALL the CG/movies that have 2 All the Cg of the characters, the ones i got i are perhaps the most amusing and funnny xD 3 get the movie/CG of story scenario, ( i found odd that i need 2 or 3 remaining ) just one thing, to get 100% in some VN you are forced to be an Asshole with the girls? cuase i got the feeling that this eventually will want me to do that and uhhh - Spoiler:
i dont think i can do that ;_;
*Edit* this game is the frist one in an trilogy series, so i guess its sorta continue but, the other 2 are japanese and not translated yet so im going get 100% or 90% ( if this game want to force to be an ass on the girls the thats no from me )

| visual novel? one thing comes to mind
Planetarium
the most, absolutely, god damn, lovely, awesome, incredible, crying, visual novel i have ever red.
and it's a small visual novel to, took me 6 hours to finish (no game play, no adult scenes, just pure, text, story, and characters(only 2 characters 2))
if any of you are interested, pm me and i'll give you links. Beforewarned though, since it's pirated, you need to switch system locale to japanese to get it to work.
IT"S WORTH THE EFFORT. | |

| *fate* I dont read japanese ^^ i used to use AGTH+ atlas before but, the trasnlation is not even good, atlas translates good kiragana and katakana but sucks badly wen come to kanji, (otherwise i would use it to continue the trilogy of galaxy angel )but there many other masterpieces of VN translated floathing around, i got the link of galaxy angel VN i played ( it comes already patched in english and such ) but the site that have it need registtration ,(i think is doujinstyle) so yeah, if you dont mind go there or ether teaching me how to use some way to upload the files then i can share them. ^^
*cheongzewei* Gah! planetarium,i heard of it long ago in 4 chan, it can make cry the pure hearted with its story, sound like an option to me wen im done gething all the stuff from GA ,
thanks both of you ^^;, i guess my reaction was normal after all

| I played lots of story-rich VN, and some part of me inside died a bit whenever I finished and complete 100% of it. Like I lost the world where it was my partial reality for a short while.
Try Yume Miru Kusuri, Type-Moon VNs, Swan Song, or G-Senjou no Maou. |

| *Cori* thats how i feeled too! wen played GA and went more deep into the plot and mess, i feeled like more into the game world than reality,
what kind of VN would be good for an begginer like me? i asked in 4 chan about it and from what i was told , is better to stay away from FSN VN ort tsukihime for an while due of the extreme deep plot that they have x.x

| Only a few VN give me that feeling. To name a few, Clannad, Ever17, and Cross Channel. Most VN sadly don't have that kind of epic story. | |

| I personally think it's normal =3 I've felt similarly when I finished a really good story, but you really can't do anything about it if you didn't like the ending because it ended early. For example, Planetarian by Key: http://vndb.org/v34 Was a really good VN, but I had to give it a 4 since... 1) It didn't have a good ending, (in my opinion) 2) The relationship between the girl and protagonist wasn't clearly defined 3) The Story was good, but the theme wasn't very visible. 4) It was rather typical of Key to actually create stories like that. I saw the pattern, and got tired of it rather quickly. Now, if you play some of the "cute" VNs like I do, you'll actually feel satisfied with some of the endings, and with some of them having anime released as well (Example: http://vndb.org/v87 ), they can be considered really "good" to people like myself. I think in order to actually feel good after finishing a VN, it... 1) Needs to have an Happy Ending 2) There should be no "Dark" Factors involved, like death 3) There needs to be a story (DUH). By the way, defining the definition of "Story", I mean an introduction, plot, conflict, and climax. 4) There needs to be a different "story" for different heroines, provided there are more than one. Dear Lord, you have no idea that some stories have different heroines with the same stories, it pisses me off 5) When there is a relationship between the protagonist and the heroine, there should be a lot of time that's spent between them, or you end up questioning their relationship even after the VN ends and shows all the traits above. PM me anytime if you want a suggestion to a new VN; I have quite a lot in my library ;D Oh, and to the OP: - Spoiler:
It is possible that some VNs require you to be an asshole to some girls to get 100% completion, but this is actually rarely the case. Most of the VNs I play require you to SPEND MORE TIME with the heroine you want to "Capture". As I said, I prefer "cute" VNs to any other types, so try one of the ones I play (Either the Fortune Arterial above, or PM me for other suggestions) then see how it changes

If you liked some of the gameplay and the whole space opera setting, check Homeworld in case you haven't played it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2AhjhYWDUM As for Visual Novels, there are ones for the Nintendo DS ("999" and "Ghost Trick") and people say it's pretty good

I can vouch for 999, I've played it to completion and enjoy every moment of it. Kinda complex at first but most will make sense at the perfect ending. |

Same maker/author, I forgot which. Epic story none the less though no click here to find items and puzzles though. Pure story
