Any build with Bugsycait [SUP] ?

Title says everything ...so far I've raised cost an bought him a small gun.
Any build or gameplay advices ?

I haven't seen much Bugsy yet, I'm a bit worried .

Bugsycaits are still few and far between....

...they're also a melee-bot's worst nightmare brought to life; the standard Bugsy's shock shield(am part) not only blocks any incoming ranged attacks, but can stun close range targets -and- temporarily disable all sub-weapons, seriously reducing Ivis' useability and effectively rendering Ouka useless(save for her sword-wave) long enough for you to get the frak out of there!

The same Bugsy's Booster has a similar shield, but with much better range; it still blocks projectiles, but can't stun nor disable sub-weapons.

Bugsycait BOOM(garapon)'s am weapon changes to a shock-tonfa, a melee weapon that loses the shield ability, but retains the stun/sub-weapon disable and does moderate damage to boot.

I've seen most Bugsys used as front line disruption, but mine(during beta) was geared for rear-line support/disruption, mostly to keep the art's on my team safe, if that helps any.

Whith what you just said It sound like the regular Bugsy is better than the Garapon (just sound, I don't really know).
Or I didn't red well ...does the AM shots are much easier to use than the shield ?
Because it seems shields are a nice support.

Bugsy shield is fantastic, gara bugsy is for players looking to be more offensive than defensive.

As far as builds go, it really depends on how you're planning to use him, because Bugsy is a very versatile bot that can do just about anything above-average.

Suguri nailed it; Bugsy shields are great in any situation and either bot is incredibly useful for a variety of scenarios; the shop version is more defensive, and the gara version is more offensive...; as I recall, rumor has it that Bugsy's awesome versatility had something to do with the reason that CBJp removed most support bots' ability to equip a certain type of Bazooka, but don't quote me on that one!

My best bot is a bugsycait, so I hope I can help you ^^.

First, if possible, change the legs. They give the crappiest amount of HP I ever seen for now for a L sized part (and still raise a lot the size of your bot).
Second, if you want more free cost, remove the BS. He's useful against enemies ART, but cost really too much for his situational use.
Third, choose your weapons. I recommend in UC or Cheap RT (no garapon, only shop) these weapons, you can also mix these set :
- Dual Large Bazooka (available in Haku quest, all difficulties). Expensive, but better damage dealer and anti AIR units.
- Dual Bazooka. Cheaper version, but still efficient.
- Scouter Rifle (Available in Berzebius 2/3 stars) and Viper Shield. More like a sniper unit. Decent damages, decent protection. Best set to support also (scouter allow you usually to do enough damages to have your WB ready twice or more during a game).
- Dual Accelerated gun/Peace Maker. More damages than with Scouter rifle, less range, less STR eat, more TEC eat. Valuable to both protect your team and attack, but you'll get harassed easily by air units.
- Dual Twin blaster (and if possible Burst fire bit) Pure anti LND unit, somehow good to attack a PS with the bit and even grouped enemies which are healing each others.
- Chain saw or Kamui staff or Twister Fan and another weapon (who said burner?). Bugsycait have high natural STR and high natural WLK and high natural TGH and can wield almost every kind of bit, and don't suffer from LND beam weakness, and is smaller in size that pulsradio, and can disable close combat enemies. Who said rambo ?

Large Bazookas actually drop from every game mode like candy now. I recommend getting them from Arcantus, they're usually 3-slot there as opposed to 0-slot or 1-slot from boss quests.

they are really good to be used in epoch too. as a ps hugger, those melee units are scared to even get closer to them if they're at the ps guarding it. so most likely they'll spam those hurricanes and fire pillars to shove you away.

i've been having these ideas for its cart build:

5 cost cart *depends on how heavy will be your equipments or you're planning for future tune ups
*really essential if you're going for full support
sword guard
beam guard
blast guard

*optional but good IMO:
stealth cart (to hide away from the healer hunters i.e. seraphs who harasses group huddled recovering bots that is if some of your team mates have them too so it'll be great to tandem it, lnd bots who goes zerg suicide on the ps just to disrupt the healers p.s. IDK if they're available at their cart level up but pls do check 1st.)
boost run (this is for escaping those pesky harassers)

the other cart build will be to use your imagination and how the effect would be if you implemented it,

for example, if you're going for a melee type bugsy you should at least have:
boost run *ninja type run in run out hack and slash style*
short boost and quick land *the hopper style!*

sword guard
beam guard
blast guard

some cost cart
better yet put some stealth cart if you're on a stealth mission *killing one target at a time*

you may get what i mean but just use your imagination on it.

Bugsy has been and for the foreseeable future will always be M size. He's never been anything else.

Broad Radar, level 9.

And I think Midona literally meant Large-sized bazookas that you can peel off from buying Steel Rider. Those are pretty much, best if you have no access to a Handy Bazooka.

Exact, I'm used to Herzianthing (Flowerdawhoop thing), I totally forgot it. In fact you can't wield Large bazooka with bugsycait.

Well Bugsy's AM works great for future SUP bots you may play. That aside, since that's not what you asked for. You can build him as a mobile gunner, just tune WLK, and equip a scouter's rifle perhaps. Though I would prefer to minimize his hit box, so you can replace his parts with the smallest parts you can get with bonuses to WLK.

Another thing you can do is turn him to a hopper. He's got both Short Boost and Quickland. Set up will be the same, equip him with the smallest parts you can get with bonuses to WLK and Tune for WLK as well. Weapon of choice will be different though, you'd probably be better of going with the L sized bazooka on this build. It does penalize your WLK, but just do some tune ups, even minor ones, proto tunes, or +1s are fine too.

Wander Bit for the gunner build can either be Repair Bit or Burst Fire Bit. Depends which you'll prefer. Though burst fire bit does give you a good way to defend yourself should you get jumped. Or help power up your allies that's too far from your own Power Spot. For the hopper though, I'll probably go with either burst fire bit or a melee bit.

Only problem though with going as a hopper with Bugsy is that, you do not get access to either short boost and quick land till later on. If memory serves me correctly, both are unlocked at lvl 9. So to fully utilize him as a hopper, you'll have to be very patient and level him up to lvl 10.

Which ever one you decide to go with, just focus on mobility, and keeping your hit box small.

I don't know about most people, but unlocking his level 9 and 10 carts -just- to turn him into a hopper seems almost like a pitiful waste to me. I picked Broad Radar over Quick Land and I can now heal without much worries. Battlefield awareness is made of awesomesauce, and with some cooperation from my teammates, have taken out Vanguards without losing any of my repairing mates by warning them early.

In epoch, offensive players' courage stat goes over 9000 (but still not as much as Boytitan's triforce of courage).
