try java or c++ or vb
or simply, use RPG maker if you're planning on making an RPG.

What are those anyway? I don't get it since the name is too short.

Java is a programming language that's used for browsers and phones.
C++ is a more complicated language that's used to write most older computer programs.
VB is short for Visual Basic, which is a beginner-level language meant for writing Windows stuff.

Java can be used more so for gaming, the only thing is, no one really uses it for gaming since almost all programmers focus only on C++ for game design. Runescape & Minecraft are Java-based games, btw. Take a look at the Java-Gaming Forum.
As a Java programmer, I feel kinda shorted when people say it is only used for phones and browers The Java language is very similar to C's many dialects, but more object-oriented. It is somewhat underused since C++ has an ancient hold on the market of game programmers, most gaming companies won't switch to Java since C++ is more well known, used, understood, and there is always a delay between new & old, especially when it comes to having to change the way a programmer works on. Not everyone is ready to jump onto the band-wagon, there is always fear when it comes to the new things, price also has to do with it, but really, if it is not broken, why fix it.
Java is underused, so you won't find many amazing games developed from it, but some companies have used it before, though.. they end-up either being forced into C++ or they find they can't find any new Java programmers and slowly turn to the Dark Side...
Besides, I really think that Java is pretty easy to learn as a first language, then you should go on to the other ones and try to evolve from there.
Pre-made programs that make games are pretty simple, robust, and tend to never give you exactly what-you-want, but learning a new language can help you in the long-run.
BTW: I logged in only to post this, because I felt I needed to ~

I wasn't trying to make you feel shorted. I like writing in Java, too.
In any case, it'd probably be a good idea to ask now: Wolf, how serious do you plan to get with game-making? Is it something you want to do as a living, or is it something you want to do just as a hobby? Is it something you'd be willing to spend money on tools for?
