Questions about stats

I just have a few questions concerning stats so I can better plan my robot builds.

1. When a stat is at 0 (e.g. STR 0), does it affect other aspects of the bot. Is it something like cost over or is the bot still usable?

2. Is it wise to have an incredibly high stat in one and 0/1 in another when using the wonderbit often? (e.g. STR 0, TEC 40)

1. The bot is still usable, except the following effects occur:
STR 0: No/1 melee damage, wonder bit lasts 3 seconds
TEC 0: No/1 bullet damage, wonder bit lasts 3 seconds
WLK 0: Longer delay between landing from the air and walking
FLY 0: Slooooooooowwwwwwww flying speed
TGH 0: Easy stun/enemy damage is more consistent (won't decrease after consecutive hits)

2. No, it's not wise when thinking about wonderbits, since 0 str/tec will make your wonderbit last 3 seconds. 1 str/tec is okay, apparently.
