Unofficial "Getting Started" Walkthrough

So I thought we could use perhaps a more descriptive "Getting Started" walkthrough.
Especially considering how difficult the interface can be sometimes.

• Download the CosmicBreak Installer
  
• Install CosmicBreak
  
• Register your user account through the install
  
• Confirm your account through email
  
• Start the game
  
• Log in
  
• Pick a Name
  
• CUTSCENE (Can skip this with Escape)
  
• Pick either Jikun Hu (Melee Spam) or Lily Rain (Long Range Spam) {Don't pick Crimrose, there's a reason for this}
  
• CUTSCENE (Can skip this with Escape)
  
• Pick a Union
  
• CUTSCENE (Can skip this with Escape)
  
• Walk up to the Union Leader robot you just talked to, right click
  
• Fight it, kill
  
• Walk up to the robot again, right click (Left click a lot)
  
• Walk up to the red thing with a spear (ShineBuster), right click
  
• Beat this mission
  
• Walk up to the Union Leader robot, right click (Left click a lot)
  
• Now you're in the Arena area.
  
• Press Escape
  
• Click on Garage (This takes forever to load)
  
• Blah blah blah, yes now you have 3 robots.
  
• Click Mate
  
• Click Accept Task (blahblahblah)
  
• Click on Arena
  
• Click on Training
  
• (Note, if you go a little bit to the left of the spawn point, there's this cool "jetboost burst ring" to jump through)
  
• Press Escape
  
• Click Garage
  
• (W00t, you got a worthless Crimrose! WHY EVER PICK CRIMROSE IF YOU GET ONE FOR FREE?!?!)
  
• Click Mate
  
• Click Accept Task
  
• Hit the "Reload" button on the top right
  
• Hold Tab
  
• Find the Central Area on the Map
  
• Use the Warp by pressing Right Click
  
• Press Escape
  
• Click Mission
  
• Click Create Room
  
• Click Easy on Gigan Busters
  
• Click Solo Mode
  
• CUTSCENE BLAH BLAH, ignore this and just click Start
  
• Doubletap WASD to get started
  
• Finish the mission to atleast the third stage
  
• Well I guess play the Bonus stage since it's free XP
  
• press Escape, quit mission
  
• Press Escape, Click on Garage
  
• Click on Mate
  
• Click Request Clear
  
• LEFTCLICKSPAM
  
• Hit the "Reload" button on the top right
  
• Hold Tab, Find the Ground Area
  
• Hold spacebar, and then quickly press right click (zoom, and you're off!)
  
• (Spacebar then quickly press W also works)
  
• Use the Warp by pressing Right Click
  
• Press Escape
  
• Click Quest
  
• Click Create Room
  
• Click Solo Mode
  
• Find the dinky little Robot called Hatek
  
• Right Click
  
• Left Click a lot
  
• Select Beginner Treasure
  
• (Notice you have a 40 minute timer)
  
• Find the blue warp and stand on it
  
• Right Click
  
• Press Tab to find weak monsters to fight
  
• Shoot at stuff until you find a Red or Blue key
  
• (It's probably going to be a BIG monster. However one area with a lot of water, it's this little zippy yellow monster)
  
• To pick stuff up, stand near to it, point the aimer at the triangle above it until it's name pops up, and right click (Too complicated)
  
• When you find one of these keys
  
• use a teleporter with the same color as the key (Right Click)
  
• Keep doing this till you get to an area titled "Outpost"
  
• Use the yellow teleporter to go back
  
• Press Tab, find the Cosmos Pot
  
• Go there
  
• Right Click on it
  
• Upgrade any part on your best robot. It's essentially going to be a "weight limit" reduction (i.e. Cost), and 10+ hp.
  
• Click on the Proto Life to upgrade with
  
• Click the top right to exit out the menu
  
• Press Escape
  
• Press Garage
  
• Press Mate
  
• Press Complete Mission
  
• Blah Blah blah
  
• Accept a new mission
  
• I picked the second one, tells you to go ALL the way back to the Arena, and pick a fight at the Arena Counter.

Wait what?
This guide could had been useful for the original jap. version, but now that the game is translated it's easy and self explicative enough, no? =3=

Just because it's in English doesn't mean it's obvious.

It would be much more helpful if the game had a "Task Display" showing exactly what the "Union Leader" expects you to be doing, and how to achieve the task.

And GreyFalcon makes his appearance in the fanforum of Cosmicbreak. Nice guide you have there.

i hope you can help me i was using your guide wich btw the bug fix did seam to help a lil but each time i click log in, it says it cant connect and will close what am i doing wrong?
