Graphic options

In the graphic options is something called "Thread Optimization" i tried enabling/disabling it and i don't see any differance.

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4.2ghz
Radeon HD 5970

CPU cores are between 3 & 5% sometimes 10%, and the GPU core's never rise above 10-13%, not sure what this option does but it doesn increase or decrease the usage or performance in any way. i'm curious as to what it's for, Intel chips?

It's as it says. It optimises your threads.
the only time you're gonna see any difference is when you either have a low amount of actual cores
Or your CPU is too shit to play CB smoothly.

+Thanks for you - i figured it was that, but AMD CPUs run on single threads per core, intel on the other have have generally 2 threads per core, which makes the options useless for me, im just trying to get everything out of it i can lol, i hope/wish they would add a larger resolution for us, that's about my only gripe. I have future plans of spending atleast $500 for various reason on the game, (not all at once) i would hope that would be enough incentive to make a nice HD resolution D:. Thanks again -Xai

And for the record, my $220 6 core processor @4.2ghz is plenty for gaming.

Yeah, that is plenty for gaming.
It's also the best processor ever made by AMD in ages.
Phenom isn't that bad.
The black editions I mean.
@4.2GHz.
I laughed.
Even with my boxed cooling and $80 Mobo it's easy to get that.
Not like AM3 is gonna fit in my LGA775 Socket anyway.
