| So, I start up, log in, join a channel, all fine.
Once I'm in game though, everything is absurd.
Basically, any texture I look at apart from the skyhas the farthest texture in the front and it covers anything else. Take the DOS area, if i'm standing towards one of the edges, I can see the silhoutte of the furnace in the middle THROUGH cliffs. I'd like to know how to remedy this. It was not an issue at the end of the obt2.
The only thing I can think of is it's an issue with the .NET framework, but I haven't the foggiest, which it is.

| Things I have done to try remedying this:
1.) Updated Drivers 2.) Updated .NET framework 3.) Updated Windows 4.) Removed .NET framework 5.) Changed in-game setting 6.) Examined MSconfig.exe for issues. 7.) Checked the Windows Event Log for possible errors that may be occuring. 8.) Update DirectX

| Do you have an older graphics card, or a graphics card at all? |

Old, but it still is something... Dunno what would be wrong. I doubt that would cause any issues, but I will suggest replacing that 30 dollar card with something... Better. Have you done a virus check lately? Stupid question I know, but a virus could be causing these issues. |

| Yes, though I know it's not the issue, because I run Fallout New Vegas fine. It's ONLY CB as far as I can tell. | |

| Now that's just weird. My old laptop had a GeForce Go 6150, which is probably a LOT WORSE than the desktop-use 8600 GS, and I had no issues with graphics whatsoever, save for framerate when the CPU cores started to heat up. | |

| That was my point, it worked, now it doesn't. I just reformatted and reinstalled. SAME issue. going to try reverting to much earlier gfx drivers. | |

| SOLVED: I rolled back the driver from 197.** and 270.**, to 195.** (** because i don't remember them off the top of my head) and it works. so, should anyone have this error and can't solve it any other way, try rolling back drivers instead of updating them.
And now that I've gone through the trouble of formatting, I get to go hunt down Audio drivers again. fun...

Also about the older graphics card working on your laptop, sometimes games have errors with certain specific cards. Hence why they try to update them. |

| I was mistaken. I logged out to reboot to change resolutions and install audio drivers, and it's back. I'm at a loss. Entirely
I of course tried to restore it back to what it was to no avail.

| UPDATE: The EXACT issue has been found. When changing resolutions, make sure to tell your PC to be running in 32-bit colors since nVidia was nice enough to make it default to 16 bit for custom resolutions, even if they're well beyond the capability to run 32 bit... | |
