| These are my settings when I was using pentium poor.
1. XL 2. no check 3. Window 4. Low 5. no check 6. no check
Added info: Reducing max objects reduce lag but something goes wrong that I can't explain. Hide skins check it Screen size: lower resolution less lag Widescreen no check

| high will make the game run better, probably at the expense of it using more memory/processor
assuming that said option does the same thing as it does on other games

What does your error log text file say when you try to start CB? probably need to replace the atioglxx.dl file in programs folder of your cb folder

I can confirm this as well. High does make it run better if you have the hardware for it. In this days and age, I'm sure everyone does for this game. Anyways, the option works similar to your "battery plan" on your Windows. If you set it to power saver then you will suffer when playing games. But if you set it to high performance then your PC will run to it's fullest. The con to this is that you will hear your computer making a lot of fan noise due to higher heat. Oh and also, raise your max object to the highest. Lowering it will give you a better "performance" but then you will be at a high disadvantage since you won't be able to see shit.

"for this game", a game that needs higher specs than MGS5:TPP to run without freezing every 2 seconds (the issue isn't even frame rate, the game itself chokes on thin air for no reason other than shit coding and how it can't make proper use of your resources, which is why it needs much higher specs). BTW, Ram has nothing to do with it for those that have more than 4GB ram, the game can't use more than 2GB of ram and will die before it actually uses that much ram.

i'm pretty sure setting the game to XL made it so that my game didn't run at all after pressing the start button. no idea where the error log file is, though
