Menu and More

Okay, I just started playing this game (at the suggestion of a friend), and it seems like it's gonna be pretty cool. However, I'm having 1 MAJOR issue. I can't figure out how to go back to a menu, or pause, or quit the game. 0_0 There's nothing in the tutorial (as far as I can tell) that tells me how to do that.
So, what's the "go back" command? How can I get to a menu and/or pause once I've started the game? I've literally hit every key on my keyboard trying to figure this out.

Are you on the training stage? ._. I remember you have to go through it to enter your Union Area.

Because after you arrived on your Union Area (after doing the training), you can do things like opening Garage (F1), opening Shop (F2), opening Arena menu (F3) and later, Bazaar (F4).

And...this game can't be paused. So yeah...either quit quickly or go through the arena. Missions and Quests still can be quitted 'though, by pressing Escape and 'Go to Lobby'.

To quit the game, simply press Alt+F4.

Uhm, I'm also having a hard time getting my gamepad to work with this game. Any idea why Cosmic Break won't recognize it?

To grab the menu at Lobby (Central, Resort or Ground Area)... just press ESC. or your Middle Mouse Button....

As for the gamepad issue, not quite sure ...

does your gamepad works normally on any other game? Have you set which button is which in the options?

Iirc Gamepad isn't recommended (because you can't use a few features or such...? ).

You can skip any PvE + the Training area by pressing ESC, this doesn't work in PvP though. If you ever want to quit te game ASAP press alt + f4.
