Seriously, Up by where I live, we havn't gotten snow for weeks! Then the night after christmas we finally get a couple feet of snow....and then....BAM 35 mph winds! Because of those winds we lost power for a good 2-3 hours....But don't even get me started on last years snow storm....lost power for 4 days....
Now I'm certain we arn't the only ones being trolled by Mother Nature, so if you've had similar experiences, do tell. After all, that's what this topic is for.

Reminds me of what happened to me a few weeks ago AND what's to come this week <_>
For last week, we had a wedding that was a few hours out from where i lived. The whole time, snow, right from the day we left, to the day we came back, nothing but constant snow, and some strange sleet and rain in between it. drifts in the road ranging from complete coverage to fricken 5 foot tall as my damn car drifts. Wankers wanted to drive ahead of us because of how slow we were going. Far from pleasant that's for sure. This spanned across 3 days, setting records everywurr. And to make matters worse, were getting a similar shitstormsnowstorm this coming Thursday, but what the hell, you seemed to have it rougher than we did.
I've seen bad but NOTHING like this year ._.

I live in Australia, therefore its summr instead of winter atm....it snowed. It Snowed In Summer
Also we're getting flooded in the north east and getting bush fires west inland. Sorry if i sound as if I'm whining, just some examples of the WTF weather we're having this year.

I only got snow at like the beginning of December, and then when it melted, it didn't snow anymore.

Here, you pay additional nearly 50 percent of the value on the U.S..ON ANYTHING THAT'S FOREIGN. Except for coke and generic food. An common example is the Mc Donalds big mac:on U.S.,it worths around 5 reals(our money)but here it's nearly 12 reals. So if i go to Auckland,i will need 4 things:
1-sharp english(i can't talk it fluently) 2-lots of money 3-a nice hotel 4-someone to help me there

1-You don't. 45%of the population are asians. Out of all the people I know, only 20% ACTUALLY have fluent english. 2-You don't. If it's food its relatively cheap here since NZ is such an agricultural country. Besides, I over hype stuff more than half the time. 3-Theres a nice one right across the road from where I live. 4 Stars or something. There's plenty of motels everywhere. I have 3 in a 500m radius from my house. 4-What the hell am I doing here.
