Disappointed that Misty Raven is not in your list of hophops.

I have one and it would go under the gimmick build since her mist gimmick makes quick jump obsolete. Unfortunately it also ruins her mobility and in turn, her flanking abilities. I also can't deal with melees at all on her nor can I win gunner fights since her mist cd is actaully LONGER than the old customizable version. IMO the old version is way more powerful since it can chain mist forever but I can't handle melees on her either. Besides, the only time I've ever played misty seriously was that stupid old power rangers themed clan tourney fight and I'm pretty sure I was the first to die.
Also the link the link doesn't work if I'm not logged in? This post must have been confusing as hell.

You're focusing too hard on using the mist to dodge things instead of the quick jump hops like you normally should be doing. Misty can do 40+ per shot with her gun, and with how quickly she shoots can very quickly add up damage. It even stuns pretty good too, which can be reliable on chasing AIRs or ARTs.
Avoiding melee LNDs is easy when you take advantage of the tracking system and have good timing. All you have to do is keep running away from them until they get just out of melee range then hop to the side (Or even over them works a lot too). If you happen to get hit, using your mist to backstep out of the combo then shocking them right after will allow you breathing room.
Finally the bird. The bird is still very useful in both offense and defense. For offense you will need the Wonderlyze core tune, which gives your bird the Hypershot effect as long as it's alive. This can also be useful for defense. Basically what this does is it now makes it so your bird does constant 15s and stuns a lot harder rather than a pitiful chipping 7 once in a lifetime. In Defense you just need to deploy the bird by your side - This will make it follow you and thus be a meat shield against enemy melees who don't realize what the bird is really there for.
A video detailing all of the above in a poorly done arena room:

just some notes on carts you can consider guard carts to be HP but since they are actually damage reduction the impact the stun formula in ways that HP doesn't. Stun is based on the damage of the hit so reducing the damage of the hit reduces the stun power of the weapon, possibly increasing the occurrence of a stun to be 1 or 2 hits later than without.
tough runner doubles your stun resistance while running. I'm fairly certain that dash actions still count as running(since they don't count as airborne) and it would be useful on hoppers, if the other carts didn't have priority. I've tried it on a few builds and it's nice to have but I'd much rather take something else in that slot.
really good guide, hopefully the people that need it most will read it.

I don't doubt that misty can hold her own and to be honest, I forgot misty has that anti melee debuff sub which shows how little I play misty but when you take away her mist, she fall short in dps and utility compared to EX Laz so I'd rather focus on what makes her unique. I also forgot, the biggest complaint I brought up to Vy when I talked about building one is that I can't bit dodge. Not shown in the guide is how much I love bit dodging and to give it up would mean the bit you are using has to be godly powerful like Genbura's aura. At most, the bird is amusing when assigned to a bad player. If you really want the ultimate misty (according to Vy) then you'd want the Valentine version that lets you replace the bit. The biggest reason I don't keep a misty around is I don't care for her design/voice. I'd much prefer a voice like Shanna/Mamino and air/art designs. I also didn't post it because I haven't played/finished it much just like my Nebel, Malca Wyra, Lunmeria, etc.... builds and it's much more likely I'll give bad advice.

Most of my stun problems are solved by the stun recovery drive cart and fitting 2x clearance when possible. I can't imagine a balanced bot being able to fit all that with my many movement carts without being OP but I'll update the guide to mention those slight benifits.

yeah most likely not able to fit those in with the requirements you work on but for future/existing things that have only 5 capa carts or things that get certain carts for free(some zeros etc) it's good to know how other carts work.

The main reason I like Misty so much is because she's basically my only LND gunner I have lol. I have a mech pierce gun hopper but I never got too far into tuning him.
