One high tec alpha and 2 life tunes cost you 3 slots, 2 ranger tunes cost you 2 slots. They give same stats while the latter is easier to do (also does not reduce str).

yeah it's not life tunes, it's high tech alpha and two life tunes instead of just doing 2 ranger tunes
he's basically doing stupid tunes and running himself out of slots and then using even worse tunes because he has no slots left because he wasted them all on life tunes instead of combo tunes
