| Like the title says, Satoru Iwata is gone, at the age of 55. It is with great sadness that we have gathered here today in remembrance of him. ( ;_; ) http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/nintendo-president-satoru-iwata-dies-55-n390901 Miyamoto and some other guy are going to replace him. This completely ruined my day.

| The "other guy" you're talking about is Genyo Takeda, who's basically a hardware specialist. He's the guy who invented battery saves, the analog stick, and took point on the Wii. With him handling hardware and Miyamoto handling software, Nintendo will do just fine. Iwata had been terminally ill with a rare and very deadly form of cancer for some time, so he had been preparing the entire company for his passing. | |
