Are we talking about wedding veil or side veil?
Cause there are 2 types of wedding veils as rt charge.
No such wedding veil was available outside rt charge bonus.
Side veil is given as a friendship reward.

Since when were the events this forgivable?

Not when I can't drive properly.

there was a machina kali on the fountain for some reason a couple hours back

It's hard to explain how Kali works in one sentence, but long story short, that's perfectly normal

Is that even a player Machina Kali, her name is displayed above her head the same way an NPC moe has her name displayed above her head

Prolly an NPC since he mentioned if happened a couple of hours back. If it was a player, why even notice her?

I'd say that NPC usually doesn't have HP bars.
Also, when Kali uses her bit, she turns into a NPC like entity, and shows up as a star in the radar. Her name changes to simply her original one because the player name is where the player is, the bit.

And when she uses her bit, she usually does a pose as if she was controlling a puppet.

She doesn't do the controlling pose right away, only after a second or so. Draw distance or spawning in the area after she started controlling seems to make it so some times she doesn't assume the controlling position.
Seen that on arena a few times and it can be rather misleading, because you see her regular pose and expect she will move, until you notice the other effects and that she has the "NPC like" name.

Also note that the bit isn't on her back anymore.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't her name change to hydralisk when she uses her bit?
