The most recent balance adjustments to Lnd Eve... In my honest opinion... they are quite strange, and will take some getting used to.
The first thing to note is that her Rage functions very differently from how it used to. It only restores boost when it initiates the buff, the buff is extended to 30 seconds, and has a VERY long cooldown. Continuous use does not damage her for 30 HP anymore, it only does whenever she needs to proc the buff. It can also be comboed into her actual melee for high amounts of burst damage, but can't be done until the Rage animation is done, no matter how much you spam right-click. Rage also angles her towards the ground while she's flying. So my advice would be to only use this to reproc the buff and if your enemy is stunned by one of your main weps to follow up with a boosted melee attack.
Speaking of main weapons, her Calamity now has 20 ammo. This not only means she can use this a lot more often now, but Stun Supply can actually refill her Bursts to use it even more often. Same goes with her new E.V.E. Shot, which has 30 ammo and does continual stun like Pina's AM attachments. Both can be used in conjunction to keep an opponent vulnerable for any one of your attacks.
Lnd Eve is pretty much like a whole new character now. She has gained a lot of benefits from the buff, but at the same time she's also gained some inconveniences compared to what she had before.
The Good: +less HP dependent +buff lasts longer +more reliable rush initiation for Melee and Bursts to hit more easily +power swinging gives her better dmg output quickly
The Bad: -she can't rely on the air as a mobility option as much as she used to -demands awareness of buff duration -demands awareness of space when trying to boost swing
I'm waiting until I can retune her fully before I start using her in UW (you may notice that her HP is lower). But hopefully with these new adjustments and new tune build she can be a much more reliable melee with better speed, clearance, and cost efficiency. I'll be sure to make a video once I've had enough practice with her and get her fully tuned once more.
Here's the new build I have in mind for her:

i wonder what they plan to do to school eve, I know a guy with a full tech build on her that would be pretty upset if they copied the main weapon change over.

Honestly I don't think they will intend to do anything with her. Copying these changes over to the School version will just not work...

Assault Step + Glide Boost? This is new for me, can you explain?

It's so she has two different mobility options just incase. 38 Wlk is the max breakpoint for Assault Step, so I wanted to capitalize on that for avoiding damage and restoring boost on the ground. Although she can't reboost while Rage Gradia is active anymore, she can still use Glide Boost to ignore terrain, she just now can't do it as much as she used to. So why not use Short Boost over Assault Step you may ask? Either one is preferable, but I already know Lnd Eve can super jump with her melee to gain max height. Assault Step is a go to for any melee who wants to reliably close gaps.
So the long and the short: Glide Boost for mixing up approach and ignoring terrain, Assault Step for avoiding damage and restoring boost to Glide.

Glide boost also for proc guard block core tunes? Hmm. Blast guard seems better to have though

Oh so my shitty Google Translating of the JP post was pretty spot on.
I wonder if they're going to make School Eve more gunner oriented. Hopefully at the same time make her melee less shit, or give her Calamity Burst better AoE. I'd much rather prefer that they give her some direction rather than what she is now. She has a good gun yet shitty melee, but her Rage revolves around this shitty melee instead of her obviously superior gun.

If you prefer to stay with ground mobility then yeh blast guard is a good one. But I personally prefer to have something tanky yet light and/or mobile. I just love the thrill of being able to fly around with her but also be able to withstand/escape danger easily. So that's why I picked Glide Boost and Armor Drive for her. It gives her HP and more means of avoiding damage (also carts that capitalize on WB ability, which she can gain quickly with Calamity Bursts). Also don't pick Guard Air Dash for Lnd Eve. Rage Gradia already gets All-Guard. : P

I WISH I had a School Eve to actually see how I could play her. Her melee's slash waves can stun while Rage Gradia is activated, she can also air track during Glide Boost, AND she can back pedal with it on the ground... So if I had to guess, she's more like a suppressive Lnd shooter. Hitting melee targets with Powerless first, then as they are trying to melee or approach you, you simply Melee whatever direction you feel is better. You are basically using the stun slash waves to keep opponents at a comfortable distance for you to shoot as you make it harder for them to melee rush you. It's really only a theory though... :/ I don't feel like debating it, as I have no School Eve to say for sure...

Ala Blitz Momiji, why not. Just increase the damage on the melee a bit because the current force is just sad, and if it goes tec, it also gets less damage increase anyway, but make it have less force than Blitz Momiji still, since her ranged weapon is already good at DPS, so having not as high force (Blitz ranged damage isn't nearly as close as School Eve, but has a debuff, which Eve has on a different weapon) kinda of balances things out.
But yeah, the actual problem is her rage being focused on the melee, but nothing that can't be changed.

After so many awful matches, I finally managed to record a decent match. I do intend to upload duplicate video with audio commentary to discuss certain moments as I was playing Lnd Eve. For now I'm just leaving this demo here. Mind the frame quality too... it's kinda meh... :/

Nice. You had a lot of healers that game. I was hoping to see you kill that black back bird with your eve ~_~. Once you get the hang of land eve, do you think it can do well in most of its future games?

Lnd Eve is pretty much the Berserker of this game. She's too fragile to not have a good healer team on her side without dying within minutes. This is why she needs high mobility to get in and deal damage across multiple enemies, then get out so she may safe-guard her teammates from other melees. She keeps her healers alive so SHE can stay alive...
Also if by "black bird" you're talking about Eris, as much as I could have (and wanted to), keeping myself on one target for too long would be unwise. Plus, there were other AIRs and such wailing on her, so I wanted to move on to different targets to keep the offensive on anything I could find. Staying in enemy territory for too long is bad for her too.
So with that said, I DO know what I'm doing with her. That however does not mean I'll be using her very often. If a teamplayer like her doesn't have a reliable team, then she's not going to last... I'm still having her in my Melee commando, but it's a commando I won't use much. I'm better off sticking to things that are more versatile in Union Wars right now (i.e. Aleixa and Nora)

I think I've stated a lot before that Glide Boost is based on both Fly AND Wlk. It's based on the ground dash cart Float Dash (obviously), which means it inherits the same stat boosts. With that said, Glide Boost is also based on Wlk, NOT just Fly. If you saw my video, you saw how fast my Lnd Eve was able to Glide Boost. That Gliding speed is exactly the same as the running speed of a 36 Wlk Lnd (no really, I tested it). Burning runner also gives Lnd Eve the fastest flying speed in the game while Gliding. Imagine that flying overhead after any Fly based ART (which are around 34 Fly on average).

you make mistakes in your builds like not putting sentinel over life+tough and changing great power alpha to 2 high power alphas to get +1 str
there's the 10 Extune limit per bot you have to consider which is why I have some Great Power tunes for the extra HP. Building this any other way would yield less optimal HP and/or STR/WLK/TGH stats, all of which are very important for this character. 12 is just bare minimum for what she needs to withstand damage AND have Clearance proc more consistently.

Hi! I'm new to the forums. This is my EVE build and I was wondering if it was good or if I need to do some changes. In the build I sacrificed 2 str and +1 force on melee for extra hp since I'll need it to buff myself. Let me know what you guys think!
Side Note: I went with only H. Cap because having 1 force + 2str didn't seem worth the extra effort and cost

So you put Burning Runner just in case you get burned and take advantage of of it, I assume? Then again, mobility is everything in this meta too. What amazes me is how long your buff stays on (and is that all guard during rage?)
