I got her in the anniversary gara and I'm highly interested in using her gunning route. I took her on a little spin after getting the gunner route cart.

Not too bad.:

Is there any specific things I should tune on her shots, like a Force? I want to do a Sway build, but I don't know if she'd be good at it.

she does pretty well with force grapid hshooter, for speed and range and damage.
you really only need 1x zero cart, imo the laser isn't anywhere near as good as antihoming and by skipping all the zero carts you can get a ridiculous amount of utility carts.
bunny version is kind of sad since you can't replace her arms for ones with higher tgh but it's not a huge problem.

i tried sway on her and really didn't like it, but whatever.

with sway you have even more carts to take. Good selection, IMO, would be sway+sword guard+blast guard+fast recovery+tough runner.(i have stun regain on mine but I have elcott arms to push my tgh higher). She has ridiculous capacity and massive base hp(450 with all carts, without a booster) so there's a lot of options to work with.

What I have:
The BS allows for a psuedo-short boost without having the cart and is great for a double-dash after her BD dash. Replacing EX-tunes with norms leaves her at 495 HP instead of 575. I didn't know how I could fit on an anti-homing bit so I just left her bit default for now. I could forgo a Clearance tune for it but I don't know if I want to do that. 30 TEC is because 11 damage should be enough, going to 38 for 12 would've taken out on the Clearance tunes and again, wasn't sure if I wanted that.

remove lunar radiance, it doesn't do anything if you don't have the zero cart for it. That frees up 20 capacity, giving you 25 total to spend 15 on antihoming and 10 on 4 tech with 2x high tech beta.

I honestly completely forgot about it lol. Alright, that'll be my skeleton build for now then I guess. Armor drive would be best if I were to drive her right?

What about optimal core tunes? Stun Supply? Custom Sway? Would Critical Attack be worth the mats on her with such a low base force?

Also I was thinking maybe replacing a GRB with Para in the skeletal build.

there aren't enough core tunes to have optimal setups since you can really just take them all at this point without running into limits unless you put on things that don't apply(guard air dash, etc.)

stun supply, custom sway, and wonder balancer(for AH bit) will be the most important.
crit is ALWAYS good. Note that each hit has an individual roll for crit core tune, every two "shots" generate 5 chances to get bonus damage.

she can make use of rocket starter since she doesn't need to transform at all, and back protect is just a good way to take less damage.


para is a great way to spend a lot of cost to not get any more damage

Yeah, I Force / High Shooter / Paralyze tuned mine and the para tune is on the list of things to regret off of her when I redo her. To get the shots to 13x2 Force would require a Great Force Beta and a Force, so I plan on trading in that para for more damage.

I'm keeping the laser bit, though. I love blasting people with that laser. I had a handy magnum on mine, but I might remove it because she has a decent amount of ammo when Stun Supplied and shot at. Even with GFB, she has 900 ammo.

Oh, and yeah, I hate Sway. I think it's a really bad cart for a gunner. The side dashes move you forward, which makes it difficult to maintain a set distance from what you're shooting. I'm totally going to zero recart her and give her hops.

I have a second one, though.. and I'm considering making her into a Long Moving Burst with a Robin Hunter AM.. to be an asshole charge delay gunner.. and I like its backflip more than her teleport.. with a gunner build.)

IDK, I see it as a valid use of cost, so long as you're comfortable with a single HS's worth of speed/range enhancement. One Force is 10 cost to go from a 16 max noncrit damage projectile to an 18. GFB and Force is 30 more cost to go from an 18 max noncrit to a 19. That might seem like a lot for a little gain, but she's a fatly costed unit with tons of ammo and she shoots about as many rounds as a gatling. As Winter McMinty pointed out, she also has a ton of crit chances. Each bit of base damage is exponentially valuable for crits.

I don't see a huge problem with it.
it's not something I would do, simply because "it's 30cost for 1 force" and I'd rather just have a grapid but it's not like he's tuning grange or something.

LOL.. after playing around with her a bit more and recalcing a Short Boost / Quick Land build.. I decided for a second High Shooter instead of the GFB.

After Armor Drive, she'll have 695 HP because I Great Success'd one core tune. If I Great Success a 2nd one, I'd have 700. The weapon shoots 300 range at 408 speed.
