im planning to give it crimson crusader, wonder balancer, and critical attack for the core tune-up. is it worth it? (do you even need to have CV for crimson crusader to work?)
i also considering removing the CV and getting great grappler on the sword instead

no.

there's no reason to do high gladiator and gladiator. Tuning gladiator twice gives the same stats as high gladiator for 5 less cost. You can do hglad + glad + glad, or glad + glad + glad, but there's no reason to tune Hglad + glad if you aren't using the last slot.

i suggest never, ever using the soldier tune.

you can combine the life tune into a power tune by using a beast tune.
