IIRC some nerds are still playing that game in some big events (in mapucheland even), alongside with Samsho IV-V (my favorite fighting game hands down) but yeah, the playerbase is pretty small

You also could've just explained that the displayed health bar isn't actually indicative of your actual health.

But Mapucheland was always Mortal Kombat and SNK territory. The only niggers who touched Street Fighter were the rich kids with the Super Nintendo, and most of them ditched it when KI came out. The only popular capcom fighters were Marvel and Xmeng and by the time ANIMES fighters were a thing everyone ditched them for whatever it was on ps2.

i did try to tell them about my hp and they didn't listen, and i didn't know what else to do so i just used the pillar
