Realm of the Mad God players, please take your time to read this

Before anyone goes ''This needs to be in the gaming section'', it's not a discussion topic. It's a warning to anyone else that plays RotMG. But if any moderate still thinks it should be in the gaming section, feel free to move it. Now there might not be anyone except me playing this, but just in case there is, I'd like them to be aware of the current issue. Now for the actual problem.

Swatsec has hacked the servers again since Kabam's security is shit. This isn't the first time he did this. A couple of months ago he also hacked the server and spawned boss monsters in the Nexus. Causing anyone that logged on to die instantly. Which is a pretty big deal considering this game is perma dead. Kabam eventually fixed this, restored characters, etc etc.

Swatsec has again, hacked their servers. Kabam has shut the servers down for several days now and is working on fixing everything and making sure their security actually works this time. However, Swatsec does have our player data. Kabam confirmed this for the data of users that play through the browser. Once everything gets fixed I recommend changing your password of your browser account, especially if your email shares the same password.

This link also has the fix. Jut read through the details. After the restart it would be a good idea to update your Java etc. Make sure you have the latest version for whatever browser you use. After that run the file from the link again and make sure it gives an error that it can't find the java.exe. This is a good thing.

Just putting this here in case there is, even if it's only one, someone that plays RotMG as well.
