Are there two other Victory bodies out there, older than V1?

they are but they aren't in this game

C21 stuff with different weapons. i vaguely remember a laser version, not sure what the other was.

bd3 was the version that had blast zooks. bd1 would have nothing on it, bd2 has snub launchers.

to be exact, theres 5 victory bds (original victory and excluding victory fb, victorl and other victory variants)
the first victory bd has basically nothing and which serves as the original victory 1 and as a starter bot long ago
second victory bd also have nothing
and
other than the 3rd bd which is bazooka
the 4th bd uses grenades
and the 5th uses rifle weaponry.

they made it a linear story mode where you went from one planet to the next and you couldn't advance until you cleared the dungeon at the end

they tried to adapt it for the cben audience by seriously increasing the focus on chaos force but nobody cared for that shit so

So they basically got rid of the free exploration and fucked up the story?

JP - You can roam an enormous world and do random quests and piddle around and explore wherever you can survive.

EN - Here are four maps. You can't go anywhere else until you gather enough people to kill the boss and unlock four more maps. Oh, and guess what? No one gives a fuck about you, so no one will help you. So, you're stuck grinding on those four maps until you can solo the boss and unlock four more maps to grind on.

IMO
The missions themselves were shit.
So no one played.
And early missions got too dependent on having many players.
So soloing was an option that NEVER ended well(For me, anyway).
