| CB still starts up normally and runs beautifully on this brand new Desktop PC...for about 30 seconds, then, just as before with Win 8, it abruptly closes out for no reason at all...no warning/error messages of any kind...just -bam-, Desktop background....  As suggested before in an earlier thread, I tried Single Player mode and got the same results...at a loss to explain it all...anyone?? | |

| Use a VM if you've tried it in safe mode and it doesn't work. | |

| Tbh, I don't think it's gonna work with CB. There are more games that seem to have issues running with W8. And CB doesn't seem like a game that's gonna work with it anytime soon. | |

| Update! Went into options at CB's title screen-splash and changed Memory Size to L(it had been M).... Either today's update fixed it, or changing the memory size did...game works just fine, now!  | |

| Derp. I thought changing the memory size is one of the first things that people do? As that fixes issues more often.
Figured you already had tried that. Well, good to see it's working for now. Hope to see you around in game. | |
