something I still don't know about momiji flare

I have used a flare momiji for a long time, but there's still one thing I'm not sure about her, her flare causes melt when hit, and melt takes 5% of total hp, so if I hit my target, does melt cause addition damage? or the damage from melt counted into my total damage, for example I hit a target and a number of 60 hp pops up, so that 60 hp including my melt damage too, or that 60hp is just the damage from my flare, or the effective time of melt is too short to take 5% hp of my target, and sorry for my bad english if I made some mistake, my grammar is really bad

Just shoot things until they are dead. All you need to know is that it damages the enemy and that is good. Crunching hard numbers is pretty useless

melt is a DoT effect, like burn. If you take a look at kagura's flare trap it does 1 damage while melt will burn away a whole chunk more

Kagura DOES have melt though. Same percentage of health flare's melt does, it just has more ticks per.

The Melt damage is not shown to you.

yeah, DoTs are not shown because they are not "your" damage, which is why you don't get credit for the kills, and why you don't see numbers coming off teammatesplayers that you fire pillar.

EHHH really firepillar does not give the kill to you? is it only for the DoT effect or does it apply on impact damage as well?

You get the kill if the firepillar kills the target on impact. If they die from the burning you don't get the kill.

You get the kill if the firepillar kills the target on impact. If they die from the burning you don't get the kill.

oh so that's how it works I was wondering cause I killed one of my allies after being hit by fire pillar
