Growling sound?

So every now and again, I hear a strange growling sound, like a stomach growling, on CB almost always accompanied by a random Toybox Girl quote and it's always when Toybox Girl isn't in the area at all. My friend (Chraiden) and I are calling it "the ghost of a starved Toybox Girl" but neither of us really know what's going on. Chraiden never hears it and I'm just wondering if any of you have heard it or know what it is. It really creeps me out.

I don't think there's any way to prevent it, and if you wanna know what it is, it's Crimrose's stomach growl sounds from the Beach Rescue mission every time Dracken pops up on the radio messages saying there's another question for them.

Astral means when dracken (the Mate) asks a certain question, the growling can be heard.

I never heard a toybox girl quote, I would know what it sounds like though because I've had a Toybox Girl for over 2 years now.

I've always, since I first installed, had random sound glitches. The glitch is that normal sounds will be played slower, and thus at a lower pitch, than they regularly would be. Sometimes when I login or after I come out of garage or zone-in to an area, my bot will speak its spawn quote and that will be lower pitched and slowed down. Sometimes, while I'm just standing around, minding my own business, other people's bots will spawn and do the same. Sometimes, when I spawn in a non-combat area, the entire game's sound effects will be playing slower and lower.. as in, even weapon fire will be affected.. until I move the mouse.

Yup, have this all the time. Either really slow and low pitched or super high pitched and fast. Mostly upon starting arena. This was mostly when I still played on my laptop, I don't hear it as often on my PC now. No idea if that has anything to do with it.

It's always accompanied by the growling. Although, the growling doesn't scare me anymore.

I know it's Toybox Girl, I've heard her enough times in Arena matches.

Yeah, it's been explained the growling is Crim rather than Toybox Girl. But again, what is up with the random Toybox Girl quotes? Does anyone else hear them without there actually being a Toybox Girl?

i've been hearing that 'ghost' TBG spawn quote myself, infact everytime i do i look around for any TBG when there aren't any.

welp, at least i'm not the only one on this.

me too, I'm having those sound glitches as well but mine is a bit different mine sounds like they're some sort of a chipmunk ...
