Sound issues when Cb is running

Whenever i run cb all my other programs get really quiet. i listen to itunes when i play and i have to turn the volume almost all the way to hear then when i close CB the volume goes back to normal. I even tried to mute CB and that didn't work, anyone got advice?

I don't know anything about iTunes, so I can't help you on that, but Media Player Classic(K-Lite Codec Pack) and Windows Media Player seem to working fine, so you can try these programs I guess.

check your sound bar and see if I tunes have their volume up, then itunes actual volume bar (somehow this two are two sepparate controls and not tied to each other) redl itunes if all else fails (back up your library first)
