| I was about to make a topic on this. Basically its an awesome BS to use on melees. What it does is that it makes melee atks home to a target, shortens the combo (or specifically, it takes PARTS of the combo) and lengthens the range. I believe there is some dmg boost as well. (hint: right click twice if u have a melee part)
The problem is, it does not exactly benefit all melee. For one, the only few I discovered is that it is fantastic on Kuten, it triggers Arteris' horizontal knockback slash instantly, it triggers Brigand Axe's 3-way wave instantly (only if u don't press any arrow keys. weird.)
However, it sometimes makes things worse. I tested it on Luto RS, but it does nothing, and only makes her combo worse coz of the short and slow movement at the end. I guess this BS is somewhat specialized to benefit only certain melee parts.
EDIT: After more testing, I realize that it'll start ending ur combos if it runs out of ammo (only if u arranged ur sub-weapons such that Brave Drive is used IN THE MIDDLE). When that happens, a simple solution is to rearrange the combo to have Brave Drive at the end of the combo so that it doesn't interrupt.
EDIT2: I'll need more opinions on whether it really extends the range/boosts the dmg/increases the tracking or homing of the melee. Coz what I'm seeing is that it behaves differently when triggered with various melee weapons (and that it tends to trigger the right AM and/or the left weapon [lolwat])
EDIT3: When holding 2 different weapons, it'll be able to trigger both weapons, but LEFT weapon 1st, then RIGHT.

| I can confirm the damage boost and homing, tested on a Stock Fencer, normal slash did like 60 to 75 damage, Boost Slash did like 90 to 120 damage, depending on bot of course, still its a significant damage boost, for me at least.
All thou i haven't tested on any other melee stuff :[

| And then everyone realizes comboing every weapon gives a +50% damage increase. | |

| I knew that booster dashes added dmg to melee atks, but there are better boosters for this. zero fighter NEXT comes to mind. | |

It's more like any sub that can combo adds melee damage. That's why builds like ZS/ZSG + Reaper Scythe exists. |

| It only does a slow, short dash if you don't have a target. Also doesn't appear to have any invulnerability frames like the Swift BS. | |

Oh lol. I thought that it only applied to those "Steps" (cart step, zero step, etc.) Good to know then. I guess the only difference Brave Drive BS makes would be that it takes parts of a weapons combo ("shortening" it). But it really feels like it extends the range of weapons by quite a bit (excluding the distance travelled with the booster animation). Tested with Amore Lance, Mighty Pilebunker for linear type melee.
