Hi. I just started about a week ago, and I just stumbled upon this forum. My IGN is the same as my UN here, I'm from DOS, and I suck outrageously. I'd really like to ask a few questions, so I guess I might as while ask them here:

1. What affects lock-on sub weapons' damage?
2. Why is everyone referring to cancer on this forum?
3. What's the best garapon to roll right now?
4. Who is BoyTitan, and why is he in everyone's sig?
5. What's the best UC option for arena until I can invest in this game?
6. What is KDJ-Plus?
7. What is a Resha?
8. What is an Eris?
9. Why does everyone hate them so much?
10. What are all the starter resources I can get in the lesson area?
11. Who is the girl I'm currently using as my Avatar?
12. Is the girl I'm using as my avatar playable IGN?

Sorry about all the questions.

1. Same as main weapons; STR for melee, TEC for guns.
2. Overpowered bots (i.e. Resha/Eris/Ivis/Flapjack) and the people that abuse them liberally in arena have earned that moniker.
3. This kind of depends on what you prefer to play so I can't give a real answer for that.
4. A DOS player infamous for racking up high cost and speaking some weird mix of English and Google Translatese.
5. Seraph Crimrose, Large Bazooka Destructor, Ballistic Launcher Hoverion come to mind. You can make some cheap suicidal builds with Turtlebacker/Accel Saber/Pawnger/Fizalivan/Lazflamme too.
6. Music-making program, don't know much about it.
7, 8, and 9. A picture's worth a thousand words; a video must be worth millions:



10. The lesson area was removed a long time ago. Off the top of my head I remember the NPCs giving out a 1s Handy Magnum Mod, a 3x ALL Alpha ticket, a Rimless Red, and a bunch of EXP Gain items.

To answer some of your question
1. Mainly by tec, but they vary from case to case so you have to be specific which bot it is
2. CS is breaking the game more than it fixes it
3. Best advice is: don't. But if you must, it still depends on what you need
4.
5. Look around the gameplay and guide section, there are plenty of UC builds
6.
7&8&9 Play around the high level rooms and you'll see them and understand
10.
11. Eve
12. She was in one of the gara, but got removed and probably won't be back any time soon

Also, how can I get a Seraph Crimrose?

Yeah, priestess is Resha, blackwings are Eris. They were recently released again with "gothic" reskins too (last month).

Seraph Crimrose promotions can be bought in the shop for 100k UC. Summer variants are available in UC garapon and can be sold at bazaar (I have like 26, I can give you one free if you'll be at rank 12 for higher in time for the next bazaar). Regular Seraph has the benefit of being able to change parts for a smaller profile/more desirable base stats, while Summer Seraph has locked parts but six more slots than regular Seraph. Generally regular's considered better than summer but they both function about the same.

These used to grant you hatchling buffs (+100 HP in case of the fans and 200% EXP gain for the scarf iirc), however these buffs are now disabled. Some ppl equip them regardless, for the looks I guess, but you can also sell them in the garage for 5000 UC each. Keep in mind that you can't sell them in bazaar and those are the only ones you'll ever get, if you like them.

Arena or missions.

If you're going the mission route you'll want to do one of the following:
-Giganbusters HARD (or MAD/EXTREME if you aren't getting 200rp per run). Use Omega Blaster or Aquila BD for fatter targets, bring a second gun for hitting smaller targets (i.e. plasma/limited plasma guns, stardust cannon)
-Starcluster HARD (or MAD/EXTREME etc). Same general deal, make sure you have a blaster for the last boss fight; piercing weapons save a LOT of time (imo you should just stick with Giganbusters, Starcluster's slower without certain Rt equipment).

Where can I find the starter NPC's?

Ooh! Ooh! Lemme answer that one!

Starter NPCs are located in this areas

Eris (About tickets) and Resha (About cubes): Central Area near the gate to the WIZ Area
School Crimrose (About accesories) and Ivis (About tune ups): Ground Area, both of them can be found near the Cosmos Pot
Rouche (About Battle Planet Bastagant): Ground Area, standing near NPC LazFlamme

Yeah, that's about it I guess. I kinda forgot how many tutorial NPCs there. OwO;;

(Also, isn't Hatchling Fans and Scarves are automatically given out to players once they're logged in for the first time? I forgot.)

The hatchling items are handed out by School Crim and Ivis iirc. To get all of the starter items talk twice to each NPC. You don't need to do anything they ask you to do btw.

The basic idea is that Ryu is prone to Resha (you'll sooner or later enocunter a priest/magical girl like humanoid) faggotery and part of the people who make this game atrociously boring at times. Don't listen, don't give-in is how I deal with this o-o"
