How To extent a mate's time?

Hi im just wondering can you extend a mate's time like aile and packet (i have them both) or you just have to wait till they expire and buy again?

You can buy them multiple times at any point and it will add the time. There was a max amount you can have but I forgot what it is.

make sure to buy before you run out of time, the "Expired" on the mate screen is kinda depressing, and the mood with your mate will worsen

Not that that actually matters when you're going to have to do her quests again and effectively raise it back up.
If I'm not mistaken, that "mood" only serves as an amplifier (making them more frequent; gate radar, trap sight, etc.) for the bonuses you gain when using the mate in quests (such as arcantus runs); those don't apply in arena where they generally matter more, IMO.

well, having the frequency increased is quite useful and it's kinda annoying to have to go through some of their missions again
