Well i don't have a tablet, nor photoshop, nor any other decent photo editing or drawing software. And so, manual it is. Please do not rage/flame/hate/troll due to the fact that i am crap at drawing. Anyway...

It's great starting out, but, uh, I'd recommend longer legs and shorter necks. But, hell, you're better at faces and hair than me.

Eyes are waayyyy too far apart in my opinion. Good stuff otherwise.

if its just about turning your pictures by 90° you can always use paint for that

Regardless of what you think, those last two are really nice. Much better than anything I could do at least. :3

Only issue I glaringly see is her legs don't line up with her body, that and her knee-guard like things appear to be on her upper thighs.

You can use pixlr to do Photoshop-ish process. pixlr.com. Web based image editor, it is free. Or Pixia, it is freeware, but i'm not familiar with it. Pixia is great for making patterns, and many manga artists use it. Pixlr is very similar to Photoshop, i love its mimic HDR function.

If you don't have a tablet (as i do), you can scan/ photograph your paper drawing, then edit it with aforementioned software. Although it would requires a lot of time to clean the picture.

I think you need to add that pointy hat or thing for katana max girl, like the head of Katana Max. Well, she would resemble an Onmyoushi than elegant girl with kimono Razz
