Nah, Tera just like every other MMORPG, has the whole issue in which I never have someone to play with, and later you kinda of need it. Playing with randoms is a pain, well, some times mostly to just find them, and having "MMO friends" is a pain because it starts being "I need to play at this hour because that's when they are playing", and I hate to schedule my free time.
But I've been waiting to try that class actually, but I'm on uguurope, so I will wait longer. Though I do like the looks of my reaper loli, and high elf and whatever the other race is can't have the same looks. D;

Yeah Sorrow, I used to have that issue too. Finding a good guild that you can skype with helps a lot though, especially when they're willing to schedule events to do.

Wait... They removed that and are adding it back again? I remember when I first played, they make you climb a wall, and I couldn't go back again, so I jumped, and died. Also died in the "village" where they give you that quest, because I had low HP and jumped down one of those walls in the village because I wanted to reach a shop faster, and died, again.

Agreed. I had an account and got to 50 something, but if you don't have a group of friends or something MMOs are just not fun anymore. Randos are just too horrible.

Gunner got released on uguurope so I went to play a bit.
Didn't come out that bad, only changed a couple of things out of a stock face.

I got flooded with like 5 reward boxes and crystalbinds and stuff like that. Holy shit. It's like logging into CB and being flooded with 100 of ever regular tune mat ever (Normal mats, core tunes and elements)

Arcane Engineer gets a giant "hey fuck you" cannon that has a 100% crit rate and has 12m more range than almost every other ranged skill in the game, meanwhile people can't do shit to stop you from firing it because even if they could it has no casting time so it instantly fires at you.
tl;dr "fuck whatever you were about to do and die"

My open-world exploration log: Travel to the Northern Island
Attempt 01:
I successfully found a route into the mountains above Northern Arun. Upon reaching them I saw a castle floating in the distance, and have no idea what it could be for.
In order to travel to it (and the island) I needed to find a safe way down a sheer cliff. I saw a waterfall and decided it was the safest option, but despite my safest efforts I died from fall damage in 1 leap. Oops.
Attempt 02:
I bought some feather falling potions so I wouldn't die from fall damage this time.
Upon reaching the bottom lake I found it to be green, which was really interesting.
Even more interesting (And fortunate) you cannot swim in it.
Upon closer inspection of the floating castle after a little bit, it seems like one of the clan sky castles, but all of the sky castles are based in Varrock. Could be a teaser to a future game update, but I don't know.
After about 5 more minutes of travel I came to this. There is clearly developed land on the other side and i was turbo sad that I couldn't get to it...
Trying to find my way around it, I eventually found a spot where the texture renders into a grass style of flooring. Ripperino Tera. I decided to avoid jumping into it for now to see if there was developed land into the island.
I ran up both ends of the area to no avail so I leaped forth after taking a feather fall potion.

Engineer is mostly only for PvE because the attacks are almost all AoE and engineer has almost nothing to self-defend with against highly aggressive targets like warriors and beserkers.

I'm wondering if I should keep selling these Hunter's Gift Boxes I keep stumbling across or gamble and open them for permanent accessories? I did get a nice 3k selling about 40 of them though.

I go on Tempest Reach - It's the oldest surviving server where people can't gank you anytime they want (like on Mount Tyrannas) and therefore has the most stable player economy because it's flooded with a lot of gold and mats.
For beginning on Tera I would recommend either a Warrior or an Archer. Race doesn't matter too much - Elves and Barakas can replenish all of their MP once per two hours. Popori and Elins can increase their move speed by like 30% for 3 minutes every 30 minutes. Amanis and Castanics can lower their chance to be knocked down by 50% for about 5 minutes. Humans have a passive HP recovery period after death.
