TERA goes f2p

Anyone on TERA right now?

I just purchased the game and got my character up to lvl18. Looking to join the Melon Party.

P.S. Is Melon Party a play on the word Lemon Party? That's literally old and gay.

No, they're on Tempest Ranch.

Speaking of guilds, I'm kind of in a 3-way between choosing Melon Party, Tiny Knights, and Nox Equiten. I've just gotten so involved with all 3 of them... I'm not sure which one I'd like to stay with.

Velika has it's own unique channel. So no matter what channel you're in when you enter the city, you automatically become part of a single channel that Velika is.

You don't have to, you can just use keys 1 to =.

You can press and hold ALT then press numbers 1-9 to get 9 different skill slot sections.

You can remap virtually any hotkey to your liking.

Happy Cloud is essentially where TERA just downloads what it needs to get through the first few areas, and lets you get through those while it still downloads the ones past it. It'll take a while to get into any area TERA hasn't downloaded obviously, since then you're waiting on TERA. Honestly I can't say I suggest it. I downloaded the whole game in one go instead of playing as it downloaded.

Also my loli leveled to 2; there doesn't seem to be a stat point system?

How to gear up? Using a mob drop bow atm. In fact what does the gear progression look like? I seem to understand the crystal things system in terms of armor.

Enchanting = refining? Is it chance as in most games? What are the refine aids?

Ingame currency = 100 copper-1 silver, 100silver = 1 gold? Can I purchase cash shop with this ingame currency?

you have to talk the the "tactics instructor" NPC to get new skills. It costs those coins. You can buy new skills every even level.

Yea; already bought skills (the arrow barrage aoe; feels like missiles mang; wish it was continuous aoe though :U )

archer didn't feel super fun until like, level 18 or so. You start getting a good variety at that point. Poison arrow is level 24 or something and really neat.
