after playing with character creation last night...i find elin is best for melee

human male body is too big for what i like. both castanic and high elf just go "i'm so sexy" mode with their clothes and pose

while human women is ok but i dont feel any voice they offer fit her, maybe if they add body height change but i think they have better thing to do

if i made priest or mage i probably go with castanic/high elf though.... those "i'm sexy and i know it" pose....

i'm not sure but i think character model affect their hit box too, if they really are then elin is probably made in to nice melee class for easier dodge

Yep. After looking into Elins and melee a couple of weeks ago, I learned they really are suited for melee. They apparently have slightly longer reach due to the forward step when meleeing, and they have a small hitbox.

I read that hitbox wise they're not drastically different, but either way there is the silhouette differences. A Baraka Priest will be harder to miss in a battle than a small Elin Priest.

Honestly though I'd just pick whatever you like. I'm sure the choice isn't too gamechanging.

But yeah no one was really on today, was a quiet day as I was gone for the entire day as was everyone else I think. We've got alot of alts in there and will be doing a bit of cleaning of inactives and such since we're bringing back the old guild. Right now it's actually around 15 active people and a ton of alts/inactives, but it'll be a bit cleaner soon, don't worry.
