You can effectively pack anything you want against the first few stages. I recommend AIRs with Beam Gatlings due to the size of the enemies. You start to encounter trouble after the bonus stage, what with that bloody gunship and those bloody clones and that bloody boss.

VS: GUNSHIP
Pack long range weapons. Better if piercing. Best if homing.
Take out all the ground forces before even thinking about shooting at the Gunship. Stay away from the gunship until all the ground forces are explodified.
You may fire at the Gunship now. If you have a lock on ANYTHING, shoot. You can off his mobility assets and weapon assets, to make life easier. You already know his weakpoint.

VS: CLONES
Pack anything you want, the stronger you bot is the harder this stage is.
Focus on your clone and NOT the Shine Busters, as everyone teleports via total damage done. Destroy that kid first and make life easier.
I think there's a way to derp your clone out, but, I forget.

VS: BOSS
Pack piercing weapons, better if long range, best if on AIR.
Piercing weapons are extremely powerful against this asshole. I can't think of anything else to make this guy easier. Ignore his support forces.

clones can't change weapons. If you have no subs and an offhand weapon like a handy mag, and you have your setup so when you spawn the handy mag is selected, it will only be able to use that. For subweapons you want pompoms/fireflowers or whatever to be default, so they can only use those.

And don't use offensive bits.

I was swapping out bots and making new ones trying to find a more optimal commando.. and I found out that taking a SDC and Frau legs and ending up on that level with that bot is really gay.

Eventually, after two hours of frustration, I found out how to more easily deal with the last boss. I did use a piercing weapon. It was an omega blaster air bot. I flew above Jack onto the lip of his doorway and shot him in the face until he went poof. My previous attempts all involved trying to meelee or shoot him from the ground or chest level.

I don't think I'll be doing her third quest again. It took an immense amount of time to complete solo, compared to Packet's third quest. Aile wants you to:

* Clear Operation Star Cluster on Hard
* Kill Berz on two stars or higher mode
* 15 arena battles with subrequest of one award

All that for a 30% beta ticket.. lol

Although, I do feel a sense of accomplishment from soloing OSC-H and Berz-2. I think I'll just buy a dickton of Custom Guns from the shop and force tune them and do Aile's second quest everyday.
