Voice chat (microphone)

Any clan/team/players use any microphone to play this game?
Skype/Ventrillo/TeamSpeak/WhateverElse?

Could be nice, even a public channel on skype for exemple for CBFF.

I think there are some people that have a group from what I've heard, though I'm not in it. I only Skype call with Joe, though he's not very active. And I'm getting less active on CBEN as well with the lag increasing each patch. ; _ ;

I think Kobrakai and Nicama's group uses it. Not sure.

It wouldn't be the first thing that's broken. So I bet it is.

apparently it requires port forwarding to set up and the game doesn't actually tell you the port you need to forward outright so most people don't know how to use it. I've seen the icon being active in cbjp videos so I know it works there(or it did in the past).

because of the sheer amount of retardism you would encounter the very second you enter it.

I'd turn it off even if it worked, I play some other games and it's pretty annoying when people are talking. Especially since mostly you can't even hear what they say 'cause their mic is just bad.

Mic is shit in this game, already tried it once, and its pretty stupid, don't bother.

I used the msn thing it but I speak with unrelated people about unrelated things.

I'd say go for it. One thing to remember is that if you get more than 13(or so. Not sure on exact number) people in the chat, you cannot actually call. So you need to stay below that.

People used to use the in-game voice chat way back in early 2011. Then everyone just stopped.

I would like to use the in game microphone feature, but I'm always afraid that every game will have someone raging and bursting out swears everywhere. Kind of the reason why I don't like to use microphones to communicate with people. I just use voice commands instead.

Plus, I don't like talking to other random people on the microphone.

If you don't wanna go with skype, maybe Teamspeak would work?

As for the voice chat...I would honestly not use it, because some persons could use the already annoying radio voices in conjunction with mic spam to become even more annoying.
