| Okay, I've been chatting about this in the Shoutbox for a while, but not too many of you seem to be listening to me. I figured I'd make a topic about it. Besides, God is a Catgirl, Diabolical, and some others of you here said they might understand me better if I did this instead. Well to start off, although I am a huge Strike Witches fan, there is some problems with it that account for why it isn't my most favorite anime of all. Many of the episodes had parts that I really think should've been different, and bug me some. I've been telling you about them, but I don't think you guys read chatbox texts as much or don't take them into account as well. In fact, if I had better video making skills, I'd make one of those "How it Should've Ended" videos for Strike Witches, like the ones you see on Youtube. This is still a reason why Sonic X no doubt. is my most favorite anime of all. Since Sonic X had absolutely no parts in it that made me think, "it would've been better if this happened." Maybe if these parts were different in this way, Strike Witches would be better than Sonic X to me. Sadly, it wasn't, but its still number 2 on my list, for it came close. Don't get me wrong, I do not dislike SW totally for this. I love SW, it just had a few notable flaws in places that none of you seem to understand. Please note that this isn't going to be used in that Strike Witches game I'm working on. The game I'm working on involves mostly scenes from the episodes I didn't have problems with, and the Evil Mercs only appear in Dark Mode, where you can play as them taking place on their more successful attacks. So none of this will be used in my game because it doesn't take place in those parts. Also, for most of the quoted lines I mention in this, they are just lines I had in mind, but they don't have to be those lines. They could be something else instead, just something that gives the same message. Its just what I think would be best for them to say. Also battle scenes are rather hard to explain with words, but I'll try to explain it as much as I can. Don't be surprised if some of my descriptions sound short, but I'd like them to be really long and drawn out and epic fights filled with loads of shots and lasers and explosions and such. I just don't know how to explain everything about how it would be, but it would be a really epic and awesome fight and a long battle at those parts. Also I put all of these into Spoiler Tags for your convenience. The episodes I didn't add are the ones I had no problems with at all. Now I will start. Sorry if it is a whole lot. God is a Catgirl and Diabolical and some of you should really read this too. Season 1 Episode 7- Spoiler:
This was the episode that pissed me off most. It was too gross and stuff, had no battle scenes, and was too corny. I mean it was just about this whole Pantsu Thief fiasco and nothing else. Even the alarm that goes off was just Francesca trying to create a diversion, and no actual fights.
Episode 7 should've went this way. It would've also been the first appearance of the Evil Mercenaries in Strike Witches, which would've been better to make upcoming appearance seem more ominous and such.
Half the episode should've been devoted to the Pantsu Thievery, but then at the second half, the alarm sounds. The Joint Fighters then mobilize to fight whatever threat it is, although Francesca doesn't come since she is otherwise occupied. Erica also doesn't come and Sakamoto and Minna stay behind to try and catch her. The Joint Fighters are informed that their enemy is attacking the defense system mainframe of Fuso, which is really bad. However, they also note that the hostile seems a bit different. The girls all then suit up and fly out to take down this threat.
Once they make it to there, they find that their threat is not even a Neuroi, but something much different. They find it to be an Evil Mercenary, who's piloting a massive heavily armed robot, and is wrecking the Fuso Defense Grid Mainframe. They don't really know he's an Evil Merc though, since this is their first encounter with them, but they do know he must be a bad guy. His robot is essentially a slow, massive, floating machine with reinforced armor, loads of missiles, and a plasma cannon arm, almost like a hovering version of Toybox in a way. The Joint Fighters go to engage him in combat.
The Evil Merc piloting it then says something like "Well, well, well, so this is the 501st Joint Union? We meet at last!" Gertrud Barkhorn is then like "What? Identify yourself at once!" The mercenary then goes "Oh who I am is not important! All that matters is that I'm going to obliterate you!" Then the fight commences. The Evil merc flies at them and starts shooting the missiles out from his mech, Macross Missile Massacre style, and the girls dodge the missile raid as best as they can. Then Lynette tries shooting at it, but it does little harm to the robot's armor. The Mercenary piloting it taunts Lynette like, "Hah, that's not going to do much! Your little guns won't even make a dent on this things reinforced armor!" Lynette then yells to him, "You don't scare me!" The Mercenary responds with, "That so? Well perhaps THIS WILL!"
Suddenly, the mech's right arm opens up to reveal its main Plasma Cannon. He charges up the cannon and fires at them, and the girls try to dodge the attack, but barely make it. Sanya then flies up from behind and fires her rocket launcher at the boosters on the robot's legs and back. She manages to land two direct hits, and they do more damage since they are rockets.
In the cockpit, the onboard monitor then goes to the Mercenary "WARNING, BOOSTERS DAMAGED, STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY REDUCED TO 80%" The Merc then gets pissed, and goes "Why those little, What the Hell do they think they're doing?!" He then keeps shooting at them more and more, but then the Joint Fighters have a plan. The mercenary then charges up the main Plasma Cannon again, but Francesca takes this as her chance to strike. She then fires her Energy blasts right into the cannon, causing it to overload and destroying the mech's right arm. Francesca's like "Hah, how's that?!" The Evil Mercenary preps the missile barrage again and shouts, "Grr, I won't go down that easy!" He then fires the huge Macross Missile Massacre style barrage at them. Charlotte then manages to get the missiles to follow her. She then accelerates and then flies close to the mech, causing them to accidentally hit him instead. Now heavily damaged, Perrine then finishes him off with her Lightning Beam, sending the robot spiraling to the ground. As he does, the mercenary inside utters his last words, which are like "Curses, I can't believe I lost to these Maggots!!!!" Then the robot hits the ground and explodes.
After defeating him, the Joint Fighters examine the wreckage. Turns out he didn't survive it, so they can't take him in to interrogate or anything. However, they still see that the Fuso Defense Grid is completely trashed, and will take some time to repair. Until then, there will need to be more others to cover that position. While flying back to base, they start asking some questions to each other. Those questions being like, "Who was that guy, where did he get a battle robot like that from, and what was he doing attacking the defense grid." Not only that, but they wonder, "was he a lone villain, or are there others?"
After the girls get back to the base, they find Sakamoto and Minna waiting there for them, with Francesca caught. They finally caught her and Francesca gives up what she stole. After that, the ending then proceeds with the ceremony for Erica, and them learning that she was the true culprit and all.
However, after that scene ends, it then ends with a very mysterious looking scene that sets the stage for the next attack by the Evil Mercenaries. The scene then goes to the Evil Mercenaries secret hideout, which would be somewhere like in a volcano, under the polar ice caps, or better yet, on an orbital space colony above Earth. There you see the Evil Mercenaries leader (Trevor or whatever the hell his name was), sitting, and talking to himself about the attack. You wouldn't really see him just yet though, he'd probably be covered up by some shadows, with you only able to see his silhouette or just part of his face or something, but you won't be able to see him in full yet. Trevor says to himself that although that guy of his in the mech, who was under his command, was successful in taking down the defense grid, even though he died in the end. Not only that, but there were some scouts who managed to return with the Data about Fuso, and they got away before the Joint Fighters even saw them. Trevor then says to himself "Everything is going just as planned!" Then he makes a signature evil laugh, like "MWA-HA-HA-HAHAHA-HA-HAHAHA-HA" and as he laughs, it zooms out on him, then on his Hideout, until its in full view. Then it fades out and the credits roll.
That's what should've happened in that episode. Season 1 Episode 11-12 (Finale)- Spoiler:
These episodes I had big problems with, especially with the Joint Fighters just giving up to the Evil Mercenaries at the start, even though with their powers and weaponry, they could easily overcome them. It made them look like cowards, not aerial badasses, and they should've fought back. Besides, the Evil Mercs wanted to later take them down and then conquer the world. I mean Trevor was like originally in this "We will use WARLOCK to Seize World Control, we will certainly become top of the chain." That obviously means that Trevor was planning to use WARLOCK and his other assorted death machines, after the Neuroi were gone, to destroy entire cities, obliterate the Joint Fighters, and then force the remaining citizens to bow down to him or suffer his wrath. Also Sakamoto said in it "Perhaps the Neuroi aren't are only enemy," which is also why they should've fought back against them without giving up.
This is how the final two episodes should've been.
After returning, they find the Evil Mercs now, and then suddenly, they launch their plan. After a long time of preparation, the Evil Mercs then release a massive fleet of flying battleships. Trevor then heads to his mini-ship and flies up with the fleet, and then docks into the main command ship of the fleet. WARLOCK then flies ahead, and the other flying battleships go with them
Suddenly, The Evil Mercenary fleet flies high above Fuso, casting a dark shadow on the land and making the citizens tremble in fear. Trevor then announces from an intercom something like "MWA-HA-HA CITIZENS OF FUSO, YOU ARE NOW LOOKING UPON THE MOST GREATEST ARMY OF BATTLESHIPS, CONSTRUCTED BY A GENIUS AND HIS LEGIONS! ITS POWER IS UNMATCHED! NOW SURRENDER TO ME AS YOU KING, OR FUSO SHALL BE NO MORE!!!!! MWA-HA-HA-HAHAHA-HA-HA!!!"
The Joint fighters quickly fly in to stop this from happening. However, the sheer number of battleships have them outgunned, but they don't stop. One by one, they manage to find ways of dealing with the ships, mainly by taking out their guns right before destroying the engine cores of the whole ship in itself. Evil Mercenary fighters fly in to intercept them, but the girls destroy them in a matter of seconds. They then fly in to try and destroy the main battleship in the fleet. It then becomes like an all out fleet-battle of the Joint Fighters against the Evil Mercs and their merciless legions of advanced weaponry, for the sake of the world itself.
After destroying some of the ships, Trevor's Lackey, Arthur William Tedder, then reports to him saying "Sir, the Joint Fighters are already getting through our fleet! We've already lost 3 warships sir!" Trevor is surprised the girls could destroy them this easy, and is like "Wha, Impossible! How can this be?!?! Gunners, knock them out of the sky!!!" The girls continue fighting, and it goes on for a while, as the ships keep shooting at them. Soon Trevor notices that he really underestimated them. He goes like "Grr, those Joint Fighters are becoming a thorn in my side, I'll send WARLOCK in to eradicate them, then they'll see what Ultimate Power is! Mwa-hahahahahaha!!!!! "
Suddenly, the WARLOCK flies in to fight. The battle commences and they have a really hard time dealing with it. Halfway though the fight then, just like in the original, the WARLOCK suddenly becomes Infected by the Neuroi. This becomes problematic. Then the WARLOCK starts firing at the Evil Mercenary Warships, destroying them in the process. Now few Warships are left, but the girls then go to face against the Infected WARLOCK, which commences the Final Boss Fight. The battle then goes like before, except there is no sinking Akagi in this one, and Yoshika has help too, and there is no scene of WARLOCK revealing its core to Yoshika, which was unneeded. After a really epic fight, the Infected WARLOCK is destroyed. There would be no part of it Chain-Infecting the Akagi as the True Last Boss Fight, but something else instead.
Now the fleet is pretty much decimated. The main command ship of the fleet is going down. Then suddenly Trevor ejects his Escape Pod from the ship and makes his getaway. After that, a new threat emerges. Trevor's Lackey, Arthur Willaim Tedder suddenly flies out, wearing a heavily armed, Nuclear-Powered, Hyper Exoskeleton Mega Armor. Arthur then approaches them and is like, "our plans to seize world control may have failed, but we are not going to forfeit now. I still have enough power to destroy all of you for my master! YAAAHHHH!!!!!!" This starts the True Last Boss Fight against Arthur Willaim Tedder in his Hyper Exoskeleton Mega Armor. He's really fast for them and really strong, but thankfully, WARLOCK was harder. As they fight him, there are warships from the Evil Mercenary fleet exploding in the background, making it more epic. They engage in battle with him, and he's really fast and hard to hit, maybe some of them get badly injured at this part.
After a really long and epic struggle, the manage to defeat Arthur and his Exo-skeleton Armor, and as he does, he then crash-lands straight into the second Neuroi Hive. This causes a nuclear explosion, since his suit was nuclear powered, strong enough to completely obliterate both Arthur and the Hive itself, in a way that makes more sense than how the Hive was destroyed in Season 1 originally.
Now after that, the Joint Fighters regroup and cheer on. They see they saved Fuso from perhaps one of the greatest threats ever and kept it from becoming controlled by the Evil Mercs. Some of them are rather wounded and bleeding, but they're alive. They decide that they'll hold a party afterwards to celebrate their largest victory ever.
After that, you see Trevor flying back to his secret hideout inside his escape pod. He plots to himself for his next plan of action for world domination. He decides his next one will go harder than before, especially since the Joint Fighters now know of his existence.
This sets the stage for Season 2. And that's how it should've went. It would've made things so much better, and wouldn't involve them giving up to the frikkin Evil Mercenaries like frikkin cowards, and would've made the Final Battles 1,000,000 times better too! Season 2 Episode 2- Spoiler:
Alright, I had big problems with the Evil Mercenaries not showing up at all in Season 2. I mean Trevor wasn't killed in the end and still they didn't kill all of the Mercs. In fact, they didn't even kill any of them, and Trevor escaped at the end. They could've been awesome reoccurring enemies other than the Neuroi. Like some episodes they'd fight Neuroi and Infected ships, other episodes they'd fight the Evil Mercs and their various robots and battle machines. Maybe some episodes would have both. Season 2 Episode 2 would've been best for this. I would've loved them to be like reoccurring enemies of this sort in the series.
Basically the episode would start going like it normally did, until near the battle. In this battle instead, a few good guy soldiers are flying alongside them to go into combat, when suddenly all of the Good Guy Soldiers ships are shot down and destroyed. The Joint Fighters look to see who their attacker is, only to find it is the Evil Mercenaries this time. One of their henchmen is piloting a new heavily armed mech, and he is escorted by 5 more Mercs in smaller robots.
The Merc introduces himself, and he tells them that they weren't done yet. They still are going to stop at nothing to become supreme rules of the world, and will destroy anyone who gets in their way, even the Joint Fighters. This henchman would probably be a really cool looking dude, with perhaps stuff like a tatoo on his arm, an eyepatch, a scar on his face, a mechanical arm, or something like that. I dunno what he'd be named, but he would have a name here.
The merc then goes to fight them in his new advanced battle robot. This one however is built for high-speed, and the girls have a hard time fighting it since its so hard to hit. He keeps zipping around like mad and shooting huge amounts of energy blasts and bullets at them. He taunts them by saying things like, "What's the matter, am I too fast for ya?!" or "You're good, but I'm much better," or "You're no match for me, prepare to die!" They take out his escorts rather easily, but he's still the main threat here.
Then near the end of this fast-paced aerial fight, suddenly Sakamoto flies in, armed with her Reppumaru. She catches him off-guard and flies in, charging the sword up. Then right as she does, she slices right through, taking down the mech and saving the day!
After this happens, the Evil Merc Henchmen piloting it ejects in an escape ship and flies off. As he does, he swears vengeance on the Joint Fighters, telling them something badass-sounding like "This isn't over, you haven't seen the last of me, I'll be back, and next time I'll destroy you Joint Fighters even if it's the last thing I do!!!" He would later show up again to fight them in another episode.
The episode ends with them rejoicing in their victory over this ambushed attack, but them questioning when they will strike again. I mean now having to fight both Neuroi and Mercenaries would make things harder. This would've made the episode way more better. Season 2 Episode 3- Spoiler:
This is one episode I think could've been better, though it still was rather good. It should've been like this though.
The first half would start with them practicing and playing around with the old "Prototype Broom Striker Units" as it did. Then halfway in, they are called into action, hearing that the Evil Mercenaries are attacking now. They ditch the Broom Strikers and get on their real Striker Units.
What they find is a massive Evil Mercenary Airship slowly flying in, and closing in on the Joint Fighter Base. The airship is carrying an extremely powerful bomb, and the Mercs are trying to drop it on the base and destroy it. Piloting this enormous airship is a somewhat noobish looking Mercenary Henchman, who by is dialogue, appears to have failed Trevor many times before, but thinks that if he can destroy the base here, he will finally redeem himself! He's not the same one from Episode 2, but a different guy. The airship looms in, and the Joint Fighters quickly fly in to intercept it.
Suddenly, the Mercenary piloting the Airship sees the Joint Fighters appear on the radar. He's like "Damn, its those Joint Fighters again! Well I've got a little surprise waiting for them!" He then announces to the others on board the airship "Alright gunners, Open Fire!"
The airship then starts firing back at them in massive amounts. Sanya attempts using her rocket launcher, but the Airship pops flares to drive her rockets off-course. Sakamoto instructs the others to try and damage the bomb-doors so they can't launch the bomb. The airship then starts deploying its other payload. It then sends in Evil Merc jetpack soldiers, and some other various battle robots to fight them. The battle begins to get rough. Later on, he then reveals a massive Railgun housed inside the Airship and uses it on them. They try dodging it, but they find even their shields take a huge hit from this Railgun. They don't know how much more their shields can withstand of this, but they don't think much.
Soon the airship is about halfway to its destination, when Gertrud flies underneath. She uses her super strength to deliver massive punches that dent-up the bomb-doors. This prevents them from opening, and now they can't drop the bomb, seeming to foil his plans.
The girls then think they are done, but the Airship keeps flying towards its destination. Turns out if he can't use the bomb, the Mercenary piloting it is going to resort to Plan B, which is to crash the entire Airship straight into the base and destroy it! The airship is now even closer to reaching the base. The Joint Fighters act quickly and focus on destroying its engines and turrets. Perrine manages to then destroy the Railgun, and things get easier. Finally, Minna manages to take down the engines, and the airship goes down. As it is, the Mercenary piloting it hits the eject and escapes in an escape ship. As he flies off he yells something like "You may have won this fight, but it isn't the end! We shall destroy you Joint Fighters one day, mark my words!!!"
After this, the Joint Fighters assess their victory and see that the Mercs will stop at nothing to take over the world and kill both the Neuroi and them. They fly back to base afterwards.
After that, you then see that noobish-looking Mercenary Henchman back at their secret hideout, approaching Trevor and talking with him. The Mercenary is like in an uneasy tone "I'm sorry Master Trevor sir, but everything was planned out perfectly! I don't know how this could've happened!"
Trevor then slams his fist down in rage and yells "And yet, IT DID!!! The Joint Fighter base was not destroyed, we lost a whole platoon of forces who were aboard that airship, and the Joint Fighters still continue to throw our plans into disarray!" The Merc then replies, "I'm terribly sorry to have failed you so many times sir, but please let me at them again, I promise it won't happen another time!" Trevor then looks pissed at him and goes, "no, no it won't."
Trevor then pulls out a gun and shoots that mercenary in the face, which is what he meant by that. After killing him, he then looks over to another guy, who happens to be the Henchman from Episode 2. Trevor then says to him "that guy was certainly a disappointment for too long, but I suppose I can expect better from you?" The other Henchman tells him, "Oh you certainly can. The tech team just finished my new battle robot, and we have gotten our plans ready. We have a new attack ready to commence on your word, and this time we shall not fail." Trevor says to him, "That's what I admire about you, I have little doubt you won't succeed!" Then it ends with Trevor making his signature Evil Laughter, and it zooms out on the Hideout till its in full view again. Then the credits roll. I would've loved Episode 3 so much more if it were like that. Season 2 Episode 5- Spoiler:
This one was the Duchess of Romanga Episode. I didn't like that one so much, but it should've been like this.
In the episode, it would start like before with them meeting the Duchess and stuff, although Francesca wouldn't beat up her bodyguards thinking of them as thugs this time. They'd meet her and introduce themselves and such, but suddenly their introduction to the Duchess is cut short.
Suddenly, massive bombs go off nearby and a huge fleet of Evil Mercenary soldiers and their robots fly across the sky. The Evil Mercs are launching a massive attack on Romanga. The attack gets really intense and you see civilians start running for their lives, almost like something out of "The Red Dawn" or something like that. The Joint Fighter realize its time to fight, and they all run off and suit up.
Suddenly while they are gone, a team of The Evil Mercs approach the Duchess, with the Henchman from Episode 2 leading this team, assuming that this attack is what he had planned. His teammates immediately gun down and kill the Duchess's bodyguards and her supporters, but do not harm the Duchess. The Mercenary Henchman then forcefully grabs the Duchess and says "You're coming with me lady!" Then he instructs them to fly off to a different position, so their plan can go into effect, and he follows them.
The Joint Fighters then go into a massive battle with this huge fleet of Evil Mercenaries, for the sake of Romagna. They have to fight through loads and loads of Mercenaries and robots and vehicles. No Neuroi in this one though, just Mercenaries.
There would be some cool parts in this battle too, such as these ones for example Like in one scene, Gertrud is gunning them down with her Dual Futuristic Assault Rifles as if she's Rambo or something. When she then suddenly runs out of ammo. A Lone Evil Mercenary then notices this and arms his weapon and says "Hah, not so tough now that you're out of ammo, huh?" Gertrud then flies up to the Merc and then grabs him in a choke-hold with her super strength. She then says something badass-sounding to him like, "Wrong Asshole! DEAD WRONG!!!" Then she breaks his neck, reloads her guns, and continues to fight.
Another scene would be like the Mercs are shooting like mad, when Charlotte then grabs one of them off his gunners seat and flies high into the air with him. He then attempts to pull a gun on Charlotte, but Charlotte knocks it out of his hands. After she's really high up, she holds him towards her and says, "Well Well Well, you're in quite a bad position now, since the ground is a long way down. Any last words?" The Mercenary then says "You'll never hear anything from me Joint Fighter!" and he even spits in Charlotte face because he's so evil. Charlotte then just drops him and lets him fall to his death screaming. After that, she looks down at where he crashed and says something like "How 'bout something like, Farewell?"
While they are fighting, the scene later goes to the team with the main Henchman who kidnapped the Duchess. He is now piloting a huge battle robot with massive arms, and loads of turrets, and he is escorted by a few other Mercenaries in Battle Armor. He starts discussing that they'll approach Romagna from this point and take it from this way, and once Romanga is their's, it will give them a great advantage in conquering the entire world. Soon, he is interrupted by another mercenary contacting him on the Intercom. The other one is like "Sir we've got trouble. The Joint Fighters already broke through our line, and are headed straight for your position sir!" He then yells, "What? Honestly, what do those numbskulls think we are paying them for?!"
The Leader Mercenary Henchman of this team then contacts Trevor by intercom. Trevor is like "Ah, they're you are, how goes the attack?" The Henchman is like, well I've got bad news, apparently the Joint Fighters were able to get through our lines. They are now headed straight for me." Trevor is like "Wha, they already made it through our lines?" The Henchman is like "Yes unfortunately, but don't worry, I've got something ready to really give them hell!" Trevor then replies "Alright, well be careful out there. Remember what they did to your comrades, I wouldn't want to lose a good man like you to them." The Henchmen tells Trevor, "Hah, leave them to me, this new Ultra Combat Robot is better equipped to deal with them, and if everything goes as planned, we will achieve victory this time sir!" And Trevor says, "alright, I admire your confidence, I wish you best of luck out there!"
Then the Henchman announces to the others "Alright everyone, Battle Stations! Time we deal with these damned Joint Fighters Once And For All!!!"
The Joint Fighters then find the Henchman and his team, who is leading the assault on Romagna. The henchman is piloting his new battle robot, and has its arms positioned so that its covering its chest. The Henchmen then yells, "Oh look, if it isn't you girls again?" The Joint Fighters all recognize his voice and yell out his name. The Henchman then says, "Yes, I see you remember me! I certainly haven't forgotten about you, or what you did to me before! However, if you think this battle will be like our last encounter, then you are Gravely Mistaken!!!"
Francesca then tells him "Oh really? Well lets see what my bullets have to say about that!"
The Henchman then tells Francesca, "You sure you want to do that Ms. Lucchini? I don't think it would be very comfortable. FOR THE DUCHESS!!!" He then makes the Mech's massive arms move and reveal that he has the Duchess tied up in bondage directly onto the mech's chest. You couldn't see this before due to how the mech's arms were covering it, but now you could. That way, if they try fighting back, they might accidentally kill the duchess with their gunfire. The Joint Fighters all gasp from this. The Duchess tries to yell "Help me" but her voice is muffled due to the gag over her mouth.
The Henchman says "Yes! We have the Duchess captive now, and I'm sure you wouldn't want anything bad to happen to her now, would you? Especially since it is your duty to protect others such as her!" He then tells them, "But we don't need to get all nasty now, I'm willing to negotiate. Relinquish Romagna to us now, and we'll let her go unharmed. If you don't, She's A Goner!!! And don't think I won't, I'll murder her just like I murdered her supporters and bodyguards."
Yoshika is startled and starts to come close as if to surrender, but Sakamoto pulls her away and tells her not to do it. Yoshika is like "But Major, the Duchess!" Sakamoto tells her, "It doesn't matter Yoshika, this is the Evil Mercenaries we are dealing with! We can't trust them! They probably are just going to kill her anyways! Either way, if they conquer Romagna, it will mean nothing but Chaos and Disaster for all of us. We can't let that happen, even if it means the Duchess's life!"
The Henchman then yells out "What are you girls babbling about?! I said surrender Romagna to us now, or else I'll Make You Surrender it! YAAAHHHHHH!!!!"
The battle with him commences. This fight is harder now because they can't really fight back or else they might end up killing the Duchess. They first decide to deal with his cohorts helping him, which is easy, but the main guy isn't. At times he taunts them, like in one he says "Cmon, can't we negotiate peacefully? Maybe We Should SHAKE ON IT!!!" and then he tries to grab them out of the air with the mech's massive claws. Another time he's like "Alright, lets see you handle this!" and then launches a huge barrage of lasers that are really hard to avoid.
Then Perrine and Francesca hatch a plan. The notice that they have less of a chance of harming the Duchess if they attack the robot's arms. So they do that. Once they do, he starts to notice what they are doing and keeps turning himself to face them with the Duchess out front. As he does he shouts to them things like "What are you doing?! You might hurt her! Don't you care?!?!"
While doing so, Sakamoto then comes in and at one moment in the fight and cuts through the bondage holding the Duchess onto the mech. This free her, and then right as she's falling, Yoshika would catch the Duchess out of the air and rescue her. The Henchmen then tries to grab them out of the sky, but Perrine would then block him using a lightning blast, allowing Yoshika to get the Duchess to safety.
Now the Henchmen is deprived of his means of ransom, but he's not finished. He's then like "alright, playtime is over!!!" and he starts firing every weapon the mech has in it like mad. The Joint Fighters however, deal with it more easily, now that the Duchess of Romagna is safe. After a really epic fight, the Mech is now badly beaten, and nearly down.
At this point, the Henchman says "Alright, I surrender now, have mercy!!!" Sakamoto then flies in and says something badass like "You'll get no sympathy from us!" Then she uses her Reppumaru sword and delivers the finishing blow to his robot. The robot explodes in a glorious explosion and the Henchman says as it does something like, "NO! NO I CANT LOSE!!! GAAAHHHH!!!" He doesn't escape this time though, he dies in the explosion. With the team leader dead, the remaining evil Merc forces then retreat from Romagna, and the battle is won.
Afterwards, the Duchess congradulates the Joint Fighters greatly for saving her city of Romagna and for saving her too. The girls enjoy a huge dinner that she has prepared for them as a token of her gratitude.
After that, the scene cuts back to Trevor at the Evil Mercenaries's hideout, where he is now angry over the fact that his one good Henchman died in battle and the did not succeed in capturing Romagna. However, a few others come in and tell them that his newest creation is now 65% operational, and should be fully created soon. He finds this to be good news and then makes his evil laugh in joy. As he makes his evil laugh, it would zoom out slowly, then zoom out on the Hideout till its in full view, then fade out. Then the episode would end there.
That would've made that episode oh so awesome, don't you agree? Season 2 Episode 9- Spoiler:
This would be that ruins episode, but however, I would've liked it if it were more like this. However, if it were, it would also have Episode 8 end with the Evil Mercenaries telling Trevor that they've found something that will be crucial to their plan's success, and that they are going to go retrieve it soon. The mercs would've been absent mostly in the episodes in-between though, and for those it would just by Neuroi battles like it originally was.
The episode would start with that Neuroi-Infected Ship fight and Perrine being mad about the bridge and all like it really did. Later on however, they find the ruins like in the episode, but its a bit different. Its more like they find the lost cave inside the ruins, and its a rather big one. The Joint fighters then suit up in their Striker Units and go in to explore this lost cave to the ancient ruins.
While flying in, they observe all there is, and are amazed at this ancient ruin. As they dive deeper into the ruins, some of the girls such as Gertrud and Charlotte notice that there appears to be digging marks there, as if someone were recently there before them, but they don't know who. They make their way in until they find and enter the main chamber of the ruins.
Here, they find an ancient treasure inside the ruins, though it doesn't turn out to be a worthless heap of spices. Instead they find it is like an ancient glowing artifact of amazing power and energy. Something like a Lost Mystic Orb of Immense Ultimate Power or something. But once they find the artifact, they are too late.
As soon as they do, they find one of the Evil Mercenaries piloting a huge humanoid mech has already found it, and is taking it for himself. Turns out the Evil Mercs found out about it before them and had already gotten in there ahead up time. He holds the artifact and goes like "at last, it is ours!" The Joint Fighters fly in and tell him, "put the artifact down, mercenary scum!" but they are then interrupted by the fact that he's not the only mercenary there.
Suddenly, out of the ground comes a second battle robot piloted by another Evil Mercenary. This battle robot would be a tunneling equipped one, something like a huge robotic scorpion with Drill Claws and such. The Mercenary piloting the Digger Robot closes in on them and says something like "BWA-HA-HA-HA!!! This Cavern Shall Become Your Tomb, Joint Fighters!" The other merc in the humanoid mech makes his escape, but the Joint Fighters cannot pursue him as for the Digger Mech is in their way.
The Joint Fighters go to do battle with the Digger Mech, although this new mech is harder than before. Perrine attempts using her lightning beam, but it has no effect. The Evil Mercenary piloting it tells her, "That's not going to work this time, for this robot is plated in a specialized alloy that absorbs electricity!" Perrine says to him, "Hmm, interesting, well I doubt it absorbs bullets as well!" She then shoots it but he blocks her shots with the robot's drill claws. The Mercenary says to them "Nice try, Now its My Turn!!!"
Then he starts firing energy balls at them from the robots claws and tail. After that, he starts drilling hard on the ground and the tunnel starts shaking. The Joint Fighters now realize that he's trying to make the tunnel collapse on top of them. Sakamoto tells all the girls to make a run for it and head for the surface. The Joint Fighters then fly back and make their way out of the ruins. The mercenary realizes what they are doing and chases after them.
The Joint Fighters go to fly out of the tunnel, but the mercenary is in hot pursuit of them and starts shooting lasers and missiles everywhere, and tries to grab them with its drill claws. Soon the tunnel starts rumbling more and rocks and other debris start falling. This makes their escape even more harder, for they now have to also avoid debris that about to fall on their heads.
Eventually the Joint Fighters make their way out of the tunnel, but the Evil Mercenary in the Digger Robot emerges out too. He then yells to them "You aren't going to win this time girls!" However, they now have a plan. Now that they are outside the tunnel, they have more space to fight in and can deal with him more easily. The Mercenary fires up a set of hover jets on the Digger Robot and proceeds to fight them in the air.
The battle now gets easier for them but the Evil Mercenary in the digger robot is nearly relentless in his fighting. Sanya then flies in and pummels it with her rockets, doing heavy damage. After a bunch of repeated hits, it blows open a hole on the Digger Mech, revealing its main engine. Perrine notices it doesn't have the Anti-Electricity armor there and fires her Lightning Beam straight into the hole. This finishes it off, and the mech goes spiraling down. As it does the Evil Mercenary piloting it yells out "No! How could I possibly lose to them! AAAUUUGGGGHHHH!!!"
After the mech crashes, the Evil Mercenary emerges out of the wreckage, badly wounded, maybe with some cuts and burns here and there, or maybe he'd also cough up blood. After he does, he then finds the Joint Fighters face to face with him. Lynette flies over and says "Well, I see your plans have not ended well for you, have they?"
The Mercenary tells her, "You've lost though, you know that. My friend already has made it out with the Artifact of Great Power. He's already long gone by now, you'll never catch him, and we now have everything we need! Not only that, but we have legions of Mercenary Soldiers working for my master, Trevor, access to more technology than you, and plenty more. We will become supreme rulers of the entire world, it is inevitable! What do you girls possibly have that can stop us?"
Charlotte Yeager then flies in, looking pissed off, and points her gun at the bad guy's face. Charlotte then yells "We've got a package for you bastard! Sign Right Here!" and then she blows his brains out.
After that, the Joint Fighters start to wonder what Trevor and the Evil Mercenaries wanted with that artifact. They then wonder how they are going to stop the Evil Mercenaries too. Minna then tells them, "Well we will just have to find them then!" And the episode would end there. That would've made that so much more awesome of an episode, don't you agree? Season 2 Episode 11-12 (Semi-Finale part)- Spoiler:
This is how the final parts of Season 2 of Strike Witches should've been like. I didn't like that final battle involving the Infected Yamato Battleship and Sakamoto being taken by a huge Neuroi Power Core and such. It should've ended with a final battle with the Evil Mercenaries and the final fight against their Head Honcho, Trevor himself, whom they didn't kill in the end of Season 2, and would be now ready to finally initiate his final plan of World Domination.
However, at the end of Episode 10, there would be a part to start this. At the end of Episode 10, Trevor would then broadcast all over the world, that his final weapon is now operational, and now he shall Seize World Control with this, and it will be even more effective of a plan than his one with the Battleship Fleet and WARLOCK was.
He reveals his new final weapon, a massive Omega Ion Cannon built into his secret Hideout, which is a massive Space Colony orbiting Earth. This Omega Ion Cannon is powered by the ancient artifact of immense power which his Mercenaries stole in Episode 9, and has the power to obliterate entire cities in one shot, even more stronger than an atomic bomb.
He then demonstrates this by using it to destroy the Third Neuroi Hive, which completely obliterates it. After all, the Evil Mercenaries were against the Neuroi too, and they needed them out of their way as well to finally conquer the world. Trevor then threatens that if the citizens do not bow down to him, he will wipe out one city off the face of the Earth each day, and they now have 6 hours to make their decision. The good guy soldiers now know that its do or die time, and the Joint Fighters proceed to go out after him.
Now would begin the finale of Episodes 11 and 12. Here, the Joint Fighters first use an Orussia-built rocket to be launched into space. After all, their Striker Units allow them to survive in the upper stratosphere, so why not in space? They then manage to find the Space Colony and fly towards it, but are met with heavy resistance by the Evil Mercenaries in Space Fighters. They fight through their fleet and manage to make their way inside the Space Colony, to finally confront Trevor and end this for good!
They make their way through the Space Colony, and have to fight through loads of Evil Mercs and battle robots. They are amazed at how the Colony is and how Trevor and his men have been using it as one of their main bases of operations. Some of the robots they fight are remakes of ones they fought in the past, although with different pilots. They keep fighting and it gets really hectic as they make their way through. They would be trying to make it to the Core of the Omega Ion Cannon and destroy it, and also find and take down Trevor himself.
Soon after loads of battles they make it to a chamber near the Ion Cannon's Main Reactor, but suddenly, Trevor broadcasts a message to them in this large chamber. Trevor then tells them that he had been collecting Battle Data on the Joint Fighters from all their previous fights with them. Now, he has used that along with his own technology to produce a new type of robot, something perfectly matched for them.
Out of hatches emerge the Evil Mercenaries's newest creations, the Mecha-Joint Fighters. These are android versions of themselves, like a Robot Yoshika, Robot Lynette, Robot Sanya, etc, that also have all their powers and moves too. The Mecha-Joint Fighters go to face against the true Joint Fighters and a huge battle commences. The Joint Fighters find them to be really tough, since these robots have all their moves and know everything they can do. The fight gets really intense against their mechanized doppelgangers, but soon they hatch a plan. Minna then instructs them all to fight whoever they can deal with better, like Sanya goes after Mecha-Perrine and Eila takes on Mecha-Charlotte. After a long fight, the Mecha-Joint Fighters are destroyed, and they then proceed to make their way into the Core of the Space Colony and destroy the Omega Ion Cannon. The next part would be the Final Battle Season 2 Episode 11-12 (Final Battle part)- Spoiler:
Now after that, this would be how the Final Battle of Strike Witches should've been, after the stuff that should've been in Episode 11 and some of the start of Episode 12.
Now after achieving victory against the Mecha-Joint Fighters, they are now at the Core of the Space Colony, when suddenly a massive foe appears. They now face against the most greatest enemy they have ever fought against.
Standing before them is a colossal, 200-ft tall Mecha of great power. This Mecha would have a name like OMEGA WIZARD or something, to fit with the theme of how most of the Evil Mercenaries's strongest weapons are named after types of Spellcasters (like WARLOCK was), and WIZARD is a type of spellcaster too. Trevor, the leader of the Evil Mercenaries is inside this Mecha, piloting it at the controls. This Mecha is armed with his most advanced weaponry ever, and it is also linked to the power of the Artifact and the Ion Cannon Core. He then announces to them, "Alright, it has come to this! It is time that I end this with you! I'll crush you all and make sure you die a most horrible death at the hands of my ultimate weapon! Prepare for your doom!!! BWA-HA-HA-HAHAHA-HA-HA!"
Now comes the fated final battle against the Head Honcho of the Evil Mercenaries himself. The OMEGA WIZARD starts firing at them unimaginably huge amounts of lasers, missiles, and plasma canons at them, and tries to attack them with its massive size too. The Joint Fighters think they may have met their match, as for this Mecha is huge and is almost 20 times stronger than even WARLOCK was.
I dunno all that should happen in this fight, but it will be really long, epic, and awesome, and with plenty of action. It will also have parts where some of the Joint Fighters get really badly wounded (but not killed), and it makes things seem even more bleak for them. They manage to damage it at parts, but not defeat it, but little by little they fight more and more. Its hard to explain with words though. When suddenly, they have one last stand. Yoshika and Sakamoto team up and use a tremendous Mega Attack on the OMEGA WIZARD. This attack rips right through it and does tremendous damage, rendering it most of it nonfunctional and it stops moving. It seems they have won, but it's not over yet.
The Joint Fighters then fly over and say something like "You're Finished, Trevor!" Trevor then tells him "NO! If I cannot have the world, than Neither Shall You!!!!!" Trevor then deactivates the safety limiter on the Omega Ion Cannon and proceeds to charge it up to over the top levels, even more than should be safe for it. Although this will obliterate the OMEGA WIZARD and himself in the process, it will also make the Ion Cannon fire an even more powerful blast that will destroy the Entire World in the process. He would be essentially be trying to take all of them down with him. Trevor then starts laughing in an evil manner and says "YOU SHALL ALL PERISH IN HELL WITH ME!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!"
When Suddenly Minna-Dietland Wilcke flies in and says, "No, this shall not happen! I know what I must do!" She then flies straight into the core and gets to the artifact, which is charging up to unsafe levels. The other Joint Fighters then try to stop her, but Minna does not stop. She then exalts all her Magical Energy, and starts to cause a Chain Reaction of massive levels. The Artifact now starts to crack and is about to explode, due to Minna's actions.
The other Joint Fighters realize what is going on, and then fly out and make their way out of the Space Colony. Alarms start to sound as for the Core is about to meltdown due to what Minna's doing. The Joint Fighters all keep going. Suddenly, Minna's exalting of her Magical Energy proves effective. It causes the Artifact of Immense Power to be destroyed, but also makes a huge explosion, and she is caught in it, as well as Trevor and the OMEGA WIZARD. The explosion starts to go throughout the entire Space Colony.
Suddenly the Joint Fighters fly out. As they do, the entire Evil Mercenary Space Colony explodes in the process, and the Omega Ion Cannon does not fire. The Joint Fighters look back to see what Minna Dietland-Wilcke had done, even though it had meant her own life. They all head back to Earth and make their way home.
Back at the base, the Good-Guy soldiers are waiting for a response. They don't hear anything for a while and assume that the Joint Fighters have all died in battle. When suddenly, they hear on the Intercom "Come in? Come in? This is Yoshika Miyafuji!" A soldier walks over and is delighted to hear her voice, and responds to her. Yoshika tells him that they have one. Trevor is now dead, and the Omega Ion Cannon, and the whole Mercenary Space Colony has been destroyed! They have achieved victory! All of the soldiers cheer for joy, knowing they have won against the Evil Mercenaries. The soldier on the intercom then asks who is still left. Yoshika tells her that everyone is okay, except for Minna, who is dead.
The Joint Fighters return to base. They at first have a ceremony for Minna, who was one of their greatest warriors, but now has perished. She made the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of us all. During the Ceremony, Sakamoto looks the most sad, as for Minna was her best friend in the entire world.
Following that, they have a huge party and celebration. They have achieved victory in a huge amount, and have done what others thought would have been a Suicide Mission, except most of them still came back alive! (except Minna)
After that, Episode 12 would end with a short Epilogue to this. The Epilogue I'll explain in the next Spoiler Tag. Season 2 Episode 12 (Epilogue)- Spoiler:
After all this mega super epic and climatic final battle stuff, Episode 12 would have this short epilogue afterwards, which would go like this.
The Epilogue scene would be in a Flash-Forward. This would take place 50 years after the stuff at the end of Episode 12. Here you would see Mio Sakamoto, as an old woman now (perhaps about 70 years old), and is with her daughter, who would look about 16 years old. And for those of you who like that stuff in it, Old Sakamoto and her daughter would both not be wearing pants. They would be seen in a certain house of some sort.
Old Sakamoto would here be finishing up telling her daughter about all her fights and adventures she had during the Events in Strike Witches from 50 years ago, when she was still younger. She'd finish it with this: "After the destruction of the Final Neuroi Hive, and the Space Colony, we stayed around for cleanup of our broken world. The war was now over, and although no Utopia, a temporary balance fell over the world again. Following the end of it all, to protect our secrecy and what had happened, all records and proof that the Joint Fighters and Neuroi, and everything else during that time ever existed, were erased and destroyed. Nowadays, only the few such as me, and whatever Joint Fighters still are alive to this day, know of that conflict that shook the world." "My days of battle had come to their closure. At least, that's what I personally believed that day."
Old Sakamoto's Daughter would then be like "Wow mother, you were certainly brave, and powerful for that! I am glad I have a mother like you!" Then Sakamoto's daughter would ask "I understand, but what about the Evil Mercenaries? Did you finally vanquish them for good?" Old Sakamoto would tell her, "Vanquish them for good? Oh no, it was anything but over with them."
Suddenly, some large vehicle-like noises would be heard outside their dwelling. Old Sakamoto would then sigh and say "And it appears they've found us"
Outside their house, a whole platoon of Evil Mercenaries would be standing, though since this would be 50 years in the future, they and their vehicles and such would look more advanced and futuristic, and not so WWII looking. The team captain of this platoon would then shout out on an intercom "Now there's no escape! Submit to us now or die Sakamoto! This is your first and final warning!"
Old Sakamoto would get to her feat and tell her daughter to follow her up the stairs. Old Sakamoto would then explain more things about them to her daughter
Old Sakamoto would tell her this. "Those Evil Mercenaries were quite a foe for us. They were persistent, they were diabolical, and they were cunning! In fact, turns out they had a second leader pulling the strings for them as well, and the man we thought was behind it all, Trevor, wasn't the only one in command of those Evil Mercenaries. And in a manner I never understood, everything from there, the attacks they had, the destruction of their Warship Fleet, the Destruction of their Space Colony, and even the Neuroi Invasion, in the end somehow it all played out very well into their hands. However, they would not take what we did without retribution for it. Not only that, but with the Neuroi gone from Earth, the only obstacle standing in their way for their quest to rule the world, was US! Ever since, they've been hunting down every last surviving member of the 501st Joint Union."
Then Old Sakamoto and her Daughter would make it to the top of the stairs, where they have some good gear laying out. Old Sakamoto tells her daughter "and they did not give up, so far they have been chasing me for decades now, but little did they know, was that I was one of the few who do not play by their cards!"
Following that, Old Sakamoto would pull out a remote detonator from her pocket, and hit the button, triggering a minefield she had prepared outside her house for if this would ever happen. The Minefield detonates and wipes out half the Evil Mercenaries's platoon, but not all of them. The Team Leader then gets to his feet and shouts out "FIRE AT WILL!!!"
Their house starts to rumble some and you hear gunfire outside. Sakamoto gets two pairs of Striker Units (more advanced looking ones since this would be 50 years in the future), and some weapons, so she and her daughter can fight back.
Then Old Sakamoto would say "Alas, I can no longer do this. I have fought them for about as long as I have lived, but now I cannot any more. I have grown far too weak now and my magic isn't even half as strong as it once was. But I will not surrender, I will make sure that my last day alive counts!"
Sakamoto's daughter would then tell her, "Mother, you've come this far, you must not mourn!"
Old Sakamoto would then explain to her daughter, "I shall not mourn nor be mourned, but there is nothing that I can do now. I cannot flee. I will fight back! I will definitely not survive in my current condition, but at least I will die knowing that I did, fighting for what is true and just, and for me, that is what matters!"
Basically Old Sakamoto would be saying that if you recall, Joint Fighter Magic gets weaker as they get older, and now that she'd be like 70 or so years old, she'll never stand a chance against this Evil Mercenary platoon facing them. But she will not give up. She's just going to face the music and fight them to her death, and even though she'll die in this, she'll die happy since it was for trying to stop the Evil Mercenaries.
Sakamoto's daughter would then ask "And what shall become of me then?"
Old Sakamoto would answer her daughter with "You, my daughter, you must go on, continue my legacy, and fight the good fight! You must find a way to truly stop these Mercenaries for good, Put an end to this Tyranny that they call The New Order, and restore Peace and Prosperity to the world once again! That is the sole reason why I have been training you in the ways of the Joint Fighters for all this time, and why I entrusted you with one of my best pairs of Striker Units, and with My Sword!"
Sakamoto's Daughter would then reply with "And I shall mother, and I shall!"
Suddenly, a shell would blow a large hole in the side of their wall. They realize they don't have time to chat anymore, and get ready for battle. Both Old Sakamoto and her daughter then grab some weapons, her daughter grabbing Sakamoto's sword, and then they hop into their own pairs of Striker Units, and activate their powers and make their Kitten/Puppy Ears appear. Old Sakamoto also would flip up her Eyepatch and reveal her scanner eye like she does. Their Striker Units fire up and they get ready to fight the Evil Mercenary platoon that stands before them. Sakamoto's daughter would then look at her mother and start to cry some, knowing that this is the last day she'll ever see her mother again.
Old Sakamoto would then be like *cough* *hack* *cough* (since she's old now), and then she'd say "Well I never thought this would be the day, but now that it has come, I shall accept it!"
Sakamoto's daughter would then ask her "Will you be joining with your old friend Minna then?" (Since Minna died in her sacrifice to destroy the Evil Merc Space Colony and the Omega Ion Cannon before).
Old Sakamoto would look at her daughter and tell her, "Yes my daughter, I plan to see her again quite soon." This makes Old Sakamoto a bit more happy, as for although she's going to die, it makes her feel better that she can look forward to seeing her best friend Minna again in the afterlife.
The two then fly out and are then seen engaging in battle with the Evil Mercenary platoon shooting at them, and it would end with a pause at there. The credits would then roll, but they would be different credits. They would have a more epic-sounding theme, and while the credits are playing, it would display on the sides Grayscale or Sepia-Colored screenshots from all the previous battles in Strike Witches, both Neuroi Battles and Evil Mercenary Battles. It wouldn't end with the credits though.
After the credits were over, the episode would end with a scene of Sakamoto's daughter standing amidst the now completely-wrecked Mercenary Platoon. Old Sakamoto is nowhere in sight, as for she died in the battle. She'd look out and see all that she managed to accomplish in that battle. Then she'd take out an old photo of Sakamoto standing with the other Joint Fighters. She'd look at the photo and shed a tear, and then she'd put it away and fly off into the blue to fulfill her Last Promise she made with her mother.
And that's how the series should've ended.
Maybe then, the Strike Witches movie would also be different, and 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 times cooler too. Like instead the Strike Witches movie would take place in a futuristic Dystopian environment. It would instead involve Sakamoto's daughter finding and teaming up with some of the other descendants of the other Joint Fighters, and them going out to now truly stop the Evil Mercenaries, who now have gained in power and threaten the world with an Iron Fist.
This concludes all I have to say about how Strike Witches should've been, and why it wasn't the best anime I've ever seen in my opinion. If it were really like this, then perhaps Strike Witches would've been better than Sonic X is, and would be my most favorite anime of all. *sigh* I wish they would've done it like this though, it would've been the most epic series I would have ever watched if it were.

| It's not our place to tell you how you should spend your free time but...
You really ought to reconsider how you spend your free time.
I used to write horrible fanfic shit when I was young too, but at least I was self-conscious enough to know not to show that rubbish to other people.

| Its not a fanfic. Its how I wish Strike Witches would've gone, so that it would've been the most awesome anime ever. Think of it like those "How it Should've ended" videos on Youtube.
And don't you know about Strike Witches anyways? If you did, you'd know that although Strike Witches was an extremely awesome anime, it still had some notable problems, which is why it is not Numero Uno on my list, only Numero Dos. If Strike Witches had these small changes to it, it would be the most awesome anime ever!!!
And BTW, I wish God is a Catgirl and Diabolical would read it already. I did this because they wanted me to and they said they'd listen to this more if I did, but they have yet to do so. Its sort of pissing me off that they aren't, even though I wrote all of this mainly because of them. |

| All I know is that it's about a bunch of pantie flashing underaged sluts who probably have no idea how to put on pants to save their miserable worthless lives, that's good enough for me.
And this still qualifies as fanfic to me.

| I dropped Strike Witches after one episode. Too many pantie shots.
Also, they'll probably read it eventually. You can't expect someone to refresh the forums 24/7 to check if something new has been posted. ' - '

| They're not underaged. I mean they would be too young for the draft if they were, and would probably not be fit to fight parasitic biomechanical creatures and villainous mercenaries with legions of futuristic death-machines. I remember that most of them are like around 16-20 years old too, which is not underaged.
Also its got plenty more to that. It pisses me off so much when others just focus on the pantsu in Strike Witches, and not the other stuff that matters. I wish you guys wouldn't be so ignorant about the series like this. It has much more to it than that, and its not all about pantsu shots! |

Who said we were focused on it? It's kind of hard to NOT see it when it's the only thing in the screen, which pisses me off. I don't like anime that only focus on fanservice. Not everyone is a pervert that wants to watch an anime with a crapload of pantie shots. :l If there was more then that, I wish they'd show it in stead of throwing so much fanservice in, it's annoying to watch an anime like that.

Who said we were focused on it? It's kind of hard to NOT see it when it's the only thing in the screen, which pisses me off. I don't like anime that only focus on fanservice. Not everyone is a pervert that wants to watch an anime with a crapload of pantie shots. :l
If there was more then that, I wish they'd show it in stead of throwing so much fanservice in, it's annoying to watch an anime like that. - reVelske wrote:

Honestly, Strike Witches isn't just that. It's all about the awesome Neuroi Dogfights, and the cool fast-paced action that's like something out of Star Fox or Strikers 1945, and the Cuteness and Cuddlyness and Moe'. And they use really cool powers too. It's not all about the pantsu, it's got more serious vibes and atmosphere to it. It's not like Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, where they do things like do a poledance to initiate their Transformation Sequence, and their underwear morphs into Battle Weapons, and they swear constantly, and act all sexual and raunchy all the time, and fight against corny villains like "The Demons Scanty and Kneesock" who come up with plans that remind me of something Team Rocket would do, and if it weren't for their constant swearing and skimpy outfits could easily pass as villains in Fairly Oddparents or some other retarded show like that. Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt is what I'd call not-serious and mindless fan-service, for the reasons I just mentioned. Strike Witches however, is more serious and different in tone and atmosphere than that, and the villains look more serious-looking and sophistacated and aren't all goofy-looking and stuff, and plenty more. Do you get the difference? Do you understand my point already? Strike Witches is a very good anime. It's not just mindless fan-service like Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt is. STOP TREATING IT LIKE IT IS!!! |

The show doesn't take itself seriously and clearly drives with its sexual themed humour and fanservice. And you know what, that's fine, it knows what it wants to be and it is consistent with it. I might not be its target audience (though certain eps, such as a Transformers ep, tickles my fancy, I do enjoy myself some good parody humour), but I don't need t be, it doesn't have to impress everyone. The pantslessness of Strike Bitches did not need to be there, it did not contribute to the anime in any way shape or form and is frankly jarring to look at. When I want some kind of pseudo military sci-fi, I sure as hell don't want slap-sticky girly slice-of-life + fanservice to go with. I'm sure a lot of the perverted fucks out there do, but I'm not one of them, and I fairly sure there are a lot of people who aren't. It's all well and good that, according to you, it has a good story, it has good combat, whatever, but the other aspects of the show makes it nigh impossible for people like myself to enjoy it or to take it even remotely seriously.

| What Strike Witches need is Natalia Poklonskaya as a witch in the next season. | |
