I really like Gattlings and 8 Vulcans on Hound Dog. I really think LL Bulk Gattling is the best though out of everything still.

Delta Vulcan has amazing DPS but, the drawbacks on it are not worth it. Just in case you were even thinking about it.

Capa+sb/qj/ql, last cart should probably be sword guard or stun regain.

LL Accel/LL Gat/Huge Gat/Double Gat/8 Vulcan + K-Shield

JP MODE: 0fly with Quick Jump to compensate the jump speed penalty. Not something I'd recommend on any other core, but with Hound Dog's low base fly and low cost you can pull MUCH higher stats on him if you kill off fly completely.

Out of curiosity, why Hound Dog BD?

Red Squealer has nicer capacity, Shino has somewhat decent initial tec.

Quick Jump (which helps with the low FLY issues)
Stun Regain
Low cost at 1050 (allows you to play aggressively if need be)
680 free cap (1050-370)

Cons

Low FLY (which can actually be bottomed out thanks to Quick Jump, so not too much of an issue)
Heavy tuning to make TEC not shit

Red Squealer

Pros

Cart step
Better stats than Hound Dog

Cons

Fat cost-wise (1235)
660 free cap (1235-575), making it lower than that of Hound Dog's
No Quick Jump
No Stun Regain

Pros

Moe (for you animals )
705 free cap (1240-535)
Stun Regain
Higher TEC

Cons

Moe (slots/parts)
1240 cost
No Quick Jump

Don't forget that Red Squealer lacks a BS slot. This means that "internal BS" stats are crammed into his BD, but in essence he still loses out on good BS choices and on the slots.

ok thanks for the replies people.
just a question, why does 0 fly and quick jump make hopping ok? i don't really understand
I'll probly go with an 8 vulcan. where can i get these though?

8v drops from arcantus, I'm sure there are plenty of people here who'd be willing to offer you their spare for a low price, hell, I think I might have a spare that I'm willing to give away for free.

Also, 0 FLY reduces the height of your hop to something pathetic, quick jump helps to counter that effect. I honestly wouldn't recommend it though, just go with positive FLY quick jump hop.

0fly QJ hops are still shorter than 1fly no-QJ (though only slightly), but yeah.
