Prefer the old pixel models, these new models look bizarre.

I miiiight not actually pick them up, think I'll put a halt on fighting games 'till I actually have people to play against.

So is it translated yet or not? only reason I like touhou in the first place.

I really like the new art style a lot. That Reimu is beautiful.

I miss the old sprites though, and they were rather fun, especially when they spin like crazy.

But I don't mind, I like new sprites Where are spellcards, though? @_@

Considering how air combo/juggles have never been my strong points in fighting games, a fighter that focuses primarily on midair combat is certainly not my cup of tea.

At least the music is good, 地の色は黄色 is still superior though.

Oh boy, this will mean my old combos won't work anymore...
I certainly hope there's still that Rocket Dive move for Utsuho~

that was my thought process as well

And thus nobody wants to play fights that are in the air...
Then again, it's super different from the other fighting games anyways.

I'll still check it out, and if I don't like it, I'll probably stick with Soku, Melty (and maybe soon after, Under Night In-birth if it ever gets released on PC)

Is it bad that I like Soku better in every way minus the weathers?

I think I prefer the old pixel sprites, and I'd prefer if background isn't littered with distracting cameos.

imo liking soku is pretty bad to begin with, but this game looks like ass.

Say, anyone played the demo for Touhou 14 that was recently released? I did and it is absolutely awesome!

I like it for how unique and challenging the new attack patterns are, and due to return appearances of some of the most adorable cuteys in the series, including Cirno and Sakuya.

Plus, Touhou 14 has 3 extremely super adorable new characters.
The one I like the most is Sekibanki though. If you've seen her, Sekibanki is this super-cutesy one with pinku hair and a blue bow, and she also has the power to make her own head pop off and float. She is so amazing, one of the best characters in the series ever (though I still like Cirno and Yuyuko more, but Sekibanki still has earned a notable spot in my top favorite Touhou Cuteys).


Anyone else have anything to say about Touhou 14? This is still relevant, right?
