| So, would making a tree/grass/stone like skin be possible as a camouflage of sorts?
Maybe a Stealth Chip, a robot named "Wootree"
This is a bad ideas, isn't it.
Would this be bush wookie quality, or would it not work?

| Uh, nope, you can't do that with with the lock on system the UI has.
As a small trivia, an entire group of failures used snow camo in a tourney, but that was for cosmetic reasons.

| If you want camo then sprout 4 gigantic black wings and dual wield massive flaming blades. Works every time. | |

| In theory, it can help lower your profile. But even with the perfect camouflage, your health bar, lock-ons, and the map will give you away in no time.
In large games, you can try matching your color with the ground/background to help prevent the enemy from quickly picking you as a target, assuming your health bar doesn't give you away first.

| I've heard some headless builds can be so flat that they can hide beneath some of the grass-like elements in the maps. But that's pretty much it. The only way to truly hide yourself is to use a Camouflage Bit's Buff.
I think the only reason to paint your bots are either cosmetic reasons or an attempt to hide your build (real nerds will still figure them out though).

| I believe camouflage bits do exist, though they're limited in their strategic use. | |
