That's the whole point. It's to make sure AIRs won't have an advantage over the other types who are stuck with taking the roads.

Random note: the roads can and will shorten the duration of Seraph Wing, so take care not to land on the highway.

Highway is a scary map, stay close to your team or get ganged by the opposing team.
There is almost no way to run away D:

Maybe you wouldn't, but I and many others probably would enjoy some gratuitous Cosmo Kaiser and Shine Buster.

Going on Abolla's suggestion, I went with the spider-bot and promptly attached this nice monocle-piece to it for effect...; I've since got it with a Handy Bazooka and dropped the knife all-together(giving me no melee options, but as I suck at melee, it's no big loss) for another ranged weapon!

Yes there is. Fly off the road and look for a teleporter in the pit.

If I can reach the teleporter with a Destructor, you can do it with a Lily Rain.

Still doing occasional rolls on the UC Garapon in CBJP and noticed 2 'gold' rewards...one is obviously a 1RT prize, but the 2nd, which resembles a green colored ticket, eludes me...any idea what it is?

that says "コスモリグレット"? The name is Cosmo Regret, and the description says "cosmos pot reset", which i'm pretty sure is to remove tunes.
