Single Player mode where you do the Giganbusters Mission with pre-set characters and pre-set weapons. The difficulty will depend on the team you pick. To access, click on Zero Saber Girl icon just above Option.

I'm so going to roll for the sword wing.

Offline mode looks fun (only for the fact that is offline and can play when i want even without internet connection), but its a little disappointing that you can't make skins in offline mode.

That's sorta the idea. Everything is preset. Heck, Offline Mode even has something Giganbusters doesn't: pre/post mission dialogue.

I tought it was a separate file for new players, so they can see how the game "feels" (of course, making good robots available) before download the client.

Pretty much. It's more or less a demo...or a just a way to pass the time while waiting for your net to reconnect.

well the offline mode is sad in many ways~ and good in many ways.

For Hard mode in offline. The bosses act like in extreme (or mad) but their damage not so overkill.

For the normal well... its easier than easy

... I am confused... I have played through the single player mode and did pretty good...

Is there no reward or incentive to play the single player mode? What's the point?

The idea is you do not need to have an account to try out the game. I assume they figured that if you were new to the game that the single player mode would allow users to test out the game before they go through starting an account.


Personally, I find it rather stupid, as after someone goes through the single player they will have to go through the introduction trials when you start an account anyway. Being given superior builds to what you will receive when starting an account seems like a good way to leave players wondering things like, "Why can't I air loop anymore?"

You can not even access the typical garage menus so that you could get a better feel for the customization aspect of the game.


Not to mention, I don't think the Single Player is even accessible from offline, as the launcher will not let you launch the game unless it can connect to the servers. Unless they changed that already (the single player should have been a button on the launcher much like the map maker, and thus you can launch either the offline or online client.


It is a CyberStep forward for them, I'll give them that. Maybe in time they'll bring more offline stuff to the table.

Corrected it... Gwayin in solo mode uses Air Loop not Accel Roll
