C1 Climax Tournament Outline

The following may be held a few months from now after the details of which are finalized and gm cooperation is acquired

C1 Climax Tournament

Requirements to sign-up: The rank of Cosmic Hero

Rules & other information:
-This tournament will be held with 20 participants in a 2 block (Block X and Block Z, 10 participants in each) Round Robin tournament using a points system
-Each player within the same block will fight each other once, the player who wins will receive 2 points, in the case of an unlikely draw, each player will receive 1 point, and the player who loses will receive 0 points
-This would mean a player has the chance to acquire 0-18 points throughout the block
-If there are 2 or more players in the same block with an identical number of the most points, they will face each other in a single match, the winner of the block will then move on to face the winner of the other block in another single match to decide the winner of the tournament
-The rooms will be held in 250 ms latency rooms
-Entering the garage while inside the room will be counted as a loss and the other contestant will receive 2 points
-The map will be Glacier night
-All bots in your commando must be of 800 cost or higher
-Glacier night has a cost limit of 2.4k in a 1v1
-All items and bots are allowed, however, 2 of the same bots (Their core and variants) are not permitted
-If a player disconnects or is not available at the time of the tournament, it will be counted as a loss for them with 0 points and the other contestant will receive 2 points

The winner of the tournament will receive the prize of $400 in rt (5.4k rt,) and the title of the 1st C1 Climax Tournament Winner

If it is held, I will also be a participant in this tournament, in the case that I win, the prize of $400 in rt will be split among the 19 other contestants (everyone who participated will receive 200 rt each)

Blocks & results:

If I get the cooperation of the gms expect this to be made official and announced approximately a month before the actual tournament on cosmic break's official homepage

No garaging after entering the room or it's counted as a loss

I'd like a no Initium/HD Ivis rule but yeah like you said CS wouldn't support that. Not that they're -quite- as bullshit 1v1 for certain bot types to deal with, but...

At any rate, waiting warmly. Can't say no to some good competition.

Sounds nice but I'm not very excited about playing 9 times in the same map, so how about map rotation?

What about arena item usage? At least, I would want this to be as UC friendly possible.

I'm allowing all items because nothing were done about them at the last team tournament
About the maps, it'll be complicated assigning 9 different maps against each different player, but I'll see what I can do after I talk to tempura about it

To be honest, I'm tired of seeing "FINAL ROUND: GREEN FIELD" every time CS holds a tournament.
