I dont think Winty would be a bad mod, but maybe he's too active. Some people seem to have arguments with him, or such? He had to moderate too many topics about himself or something. Really tough.

I really don't know how to describe it. I think he's involved with too many things. I don't even find him to cause too much drama (at least not much more than most other "active" users), but I think he'd get in his own way.

Well at least that's what usually happens if such well known users become mods in communities. I used to moderate an RPG community, simply because I've been there a lot and was known to be an integer and fair person, but ultimately that being there a lot turned into a problem because too many people were pissed of my decisions (i.e. one of the guys on my FL started trolling newcomers and couldn't accept that he ended up with a perma ban, after repeatedly disrupting games).

possibly because the current moderation staff only reacts when there are multiple posts in a row that get reported. In order to achieve a reaction, I create a situation that grabs their attention. If they actually acted on their own rules, such things would not be needed, however that is simply not the case.

I do not believe the people I start said arguments with can be classified as innocent. The current moderation staff would ignore the issue because "it's just one post" but act when it's two people arguing for several pages about something dumb. I am creating a situation that forces YOU to act. This goes back to the opening post:

Does not erase that you played the troll and got other people involved. It was still not a valid reason to 'test' the moderators/admins with your act at all, makes you even more of an idiot to create such an event in order to prove yourself to be a Moderator.

If you were really serious in being a Moderator, you wouldn't have lowered yourself to that of a self-righteous troll but instead, be one of those users that just reported posts of other people that you think is in the wrong, or bugged... that wasn't plotted by you.

So now, I'm just going to lock this thread because really, you're just trying to prove that you are just a power hungry troll. (unless Astral_Goddess or any of the other moderators wants to pitch-in/say something.)

I meant you shouldn't vote no based on dislike, or yes based on like. In other words, keep the bias out. this isn't a popularity poll.

If some faggot tells you that if he ever gets to be mod he is gonna permaban you for no reason, would you vote for him as a mod?

That would be a judgment of character. That's fine because having the appropriate character is fairly important in a role with power.
