Go check out Mahou Shoujo of The end. Its like Highschool of the Dead (with magical zombies)

and the fact that they RUN makes things scarier.

(and id doubt there would be people immune to being exploded)

They ignore the human limits so they're supposed to run faster.

Anyway, HOTD is pretty bad, only about the fan-service, but I liked the action in it. And I'm always in for some zombie action, so I guess I'll check this one out.

Besides, if you want to get technical, there's still the matter of rigor mortis and the fact that running requires a certain level of intelligence to execute.
