Who else agrees with me?

Ok, i just wanna see if other share my opnion on graphics. When i play online games i will intentionally set the quality to low, so i can play with slight older looking graphics, it looks better to me when games have slightly degraded graphics, i can't really explain why.

I enjoy retro, but I can't say I've ever intentionally set a game's settings any lower than my computer can handle (which is to say, usually max).

Well, in competitive TF2, but that's for the sake of higher framerate. Can't be too careful there.

Online games, I set settings down for processing reasons. When not compeitive, then higher details are appreciated.

Erm, I think that no for me, because the only reason I set game settings on low ones is to not lag or not get freezed during battle since my laptop is shitty

I think CBEN's ps1/ps2 feel is one of it's charms <3 Also, my current compy can't handle amazing graphics of the modern age T.T

I prefer it when I can see all the details the artists put into the game.

Feels like such a shame if I can't see it, if they put so much effort into it.

Still, setting games the way you want to see them is natural. It's fine by me ^-^

I play a game for the fun of well, playing a game, not the gloriousness of graphical wonderment...unless it's firefall, that has some sweet graphics mixed with great gameplay.

Not sure if that's off topic, but this is most certainly on topic, I set my graphics to medium, so I have something good to look at when I'm not being stormed, and so I can still see the opposition easily.

So really, I'm 50/50 on this.

the only game series i remember doing that was Unreal Tournament, but thats solely for the reason that it is basically unplayable when certain effects are turned on ( like coronas and other light effects ) you will just no longer see your enemy when your blinded by massive effects that have no use other than eyecandy >.>

to me it depends. On whether ur playing games like Tales, or games like Mario.

I do that sometimes, but not always.

It's always fun to play Oblivion with lowest setting lol
