SUKI IS VERY PLEASED. THE TWO THINGS I WANTED AND YOU GOT IT IN ONE x5 ROLL. NUTS TO YOU! Now that that's out of my system... Spread Bazooka is pretty meh. Destructor Max is good far ranged, and spread bazooka may seem good in concept but it's low speed makes it unideal for closerange combat which probably made it why you couldnt win. I think one thing you need to do is to choose targets. If you know you can't win, run toward your allies and HOPE they;ll help you. If you think you've got the upper hand (example being attacking a distracted air unit) then you're fine.

| Destructor Max can have 38 fly if you tune him up well, and with Broad Radar you can anticipate Lnds and move out. It's the Airs/Arts that i have concern with when they get too close, like what happened to CapeMike Handy Bazooka, Bazooka, and a well aimed shot from the BD main weapon missiles sometimes do the trick. And if you're good enough with the BD missiles to hit nearby Airs, a shield would help mitigating Art attacks from the front. On another topic, while browsing bazaar prices... - Quote :

And what Akhenderson said, always know where your closest team-mates are in case a something you can't handle comes and surprises you. Guess my main issue is mobility...the vast majority of my bots aren't particularly mobile, being meant for ground-based/ranged defense, and with one exception among my regularly used bots(Chibi-Haruka, and I still haven't learned how to Float Dash effectively), the only movement cart I regularly use is Boost Run, and that's typically for just keeping up or an 'oh crapRUNAWAY' moment.... Here's a rare exception to the lack of mobility in my garage: Simply meant, again, for ranged combat, it's fun when I can get this bot to eat lands up.... Guess I also need to work on panicking whenever something gets close to me, too. ...guess I should start tuning more often, too, if I could get better at it....

| I made this huge document regarding an idea to change the bit system. Basically, it's "Use any handheld weapon as a wonderbit so you can summon them and obserGATLINGGATLINGGATLING" Just read it, you'll understand. - WORDWALL:
Wonderbit System Refinement.
-Summery- This modified WB system will be able to increase the customization of this game by a metric ton. In short, you could call it a "MAKE EVERYTHING A WONDERBIT" system. This system only effects bots with a normal wonderbit system. So bots like Mialy, Hiverion, Nicole Malice, etc. will not be effected.
-Preparations- Take every wonder bit in the game and turn it into "Wonderbit Ammunition." Double x Bits will be transferred into 2. This WBAmmo will be used to summon bits. They can be traded via Bazaar.
Change the customization screen of bots. Remove the WB selection area, and put 2 regular part-sized boxes where it was. This is the selection for weapons. Put a small box on the side of each. This small box will be called "Wonderbit Targeting Mod." More on this later.
-Usage Summery- There are 2 WB slots on a bot. Clicking these slots allows you to put handheld weapons into it. These handheld weapons are your Wonderbits. If you throw on a Plasma Gun, you'll have a Plasma Gun Bit. You throw on a Buster Gatling, you'll have a Buster Gatling Bit. You throw on a Fishing Whip, you'll have a Fishing Whip Bit. And so forth.
Apon going in the game and getting your WB Gauge up and then deploying your WB, you'll have your whatever-bit floating beside you. Like it should. If you're using 1 WB, it'll reduce your WBAmmo by 1. If you're using 2, it'll reduce your WBAmmo by 2.
-Customization and Behavior Details- There's 2 WB slots. These decide what weapons the Wonderbits will have. All handheld weapons. Ranged, Melee, and Shields will be used differently. Ranged will shoot at the first target it acquires and will keep firing until they lose their lock. Due to dead target, out of range, out of firing angle, etc. This is changed via WBTM (More on those later). Melee will thrust itself at a target and not re-lock, constantly slashing while on it's course. Shields will rotate around you like a Spike Bit, soaking damage when it can. There are restrictions regarding Bot Type and Bot Size. Beezle will not be able to use a Septuple Launcher Bit.
Each WB has it's own WBTM slot. This decides what that bit will try to focus on. Some of the WBTMs can be "Focus AIR", "Focus ART", "Focus Far", "Focus Close", "Focus Lowest HP", "Focus My Target", and so forth. They can be traded via Bazaar. IE, if a Structure Breaker Bit has a "Focus AIR" WBTM, it'll act normally until another target comes within locking area, if that target is an AIR, it'll ignore the target it's shooting at and will shoot at the AIR instead. If another AIR comes in the area, it'll shoot at the first AIR and not change targets.
If using 2 or more bits, there should be a "Double Wonderbit Tax" of 5 to 25 cost. Maybe it should be 10% of the most expensive weapon's cost, rounded up to next 5. IE, Breaker Gatling = 210 -> 21 -> 25 cost tax. Handy Bazooka Mod = 40 -> 4 -> 5 cost tax.
-Statistical Details- As much as a "Double LL Bulk Plasma Gun Bit" is fun, it'll have 400 cost. I don't think anyone will save 400 cost for WBs alone. So instead, I think that the Cost should instead involve the effort it takes to get your WB gauge up. 420 cost would be the highest (double gat baz), therefore, involving much effort and time to get the WB gauge up. 15 cost would be the lowest (single handgun), therefore, involving very little to get the WB guage up.
The Ammo stat would be how long the WB stays out. This works in congregation with the INT stat. Using math, it'll figure out how long the weapon will last in constant fire without stopping until it runs out of ammo. (ammo*(INT/1000)=sections until depletion). Using the result, followed by a multiplier, will tell you how long the bit will last. Low ammo efficiency weapons like the Military Gun will not last long, but high ammo efficiency weapons like Buster Gatling will last ages. If you're using asymmetrical weapons, it'll be averaged.
The Clip Size stat (not displayed) would be how long the weapon can fire constantly before having to take a break. You know what I mean. This is local to each weapon.
-About Tunes and Stats- All statistical (WLK, TGH, etc.) tunes will ignored. Generic Stats (Boost Gun's +3 FLY, etc.) will NOT be ignored, due to balance. However, they'll only be in effect when the WBs are out and are stacked. This is also the case of weapons that reduce stats, so take out Double Eight Vulcan Bit when you're not going to be moving. IE, Double Combat Magnum Bit. +0 WLK when not out. +4 when out. +2 when 1 is destroyed. +0 when both are destroyed.

IE, Double Combat Magnum Bit. +0 WLK when not out. +4 when out. +2 when 1 is destroyed. +0 when both are destroyed.
-About Special Wonderbits- The following bits are considered special. Rapid Fire Bit / Repair Bit / Propeller Bit / Anti-Homing Bit / All Unit Bits
I'm not sure how to treat most of these. Unless they're transferred into handheld versions. Propeller Unit, +2 FLY, 25 cost, no weapon? However, these could be in their own category, "WB Slot Only", anyone? Still needs work. "Unit" will be of it's own in the "WB Slot Only" catagory. Upon adding it and a weapon in the other slot, you can make a deployable weapon unit. IE, Unit + Beam Gatling = Beam Gatling Unit. A single unit that is deployed on the ground and will function like a regular Unit.
-About Default Bits- Bots with a default bit will just have a handheld weapon in there by default. No biggy. This default weapon will be effected by cost, duration formula, and all that. However, default bits get the bonus of not draining WBAmmo when used. This is only in effect for 1 WB. IE, Psycho Forumla would have an Armor Breaker Bit. Using it will not reduce WBAmmo. However, throwing another Armor Breaker on it will make it use 1 WBAmmo.
-Balance Concerns- All ratios. Basically. Also, Behavior of combination weapons like the M-9 Bayonet. There can be problematic things, like Double Cydron Knife Bit, LL Bulk Gatling + LL Bulk Magnum Bit, etc.
-Unknown Notes- Stock Bit HP is unspecified. Should it be relative to size? Relative to force? What? STR/TEC ratio should effect bit HP and slightly increase bit duration. Tough Wonder Bit cart should effect bit HP. Growing Wonder and Wonderbit Rate Up (right?) should work normally. But weapons with higher cost are going to take longer to fill.

| But what about my dual laser bits, which I spent months regaining my supply of so I could one day use them again? - Spoiler:
Suki is very easily scared by people in-game. Clinging to Suki and repeating my name over and over again doesn't help matters at all. I like my EVE. Killing a distracted EVE with Lala, and then skipping merrily away.

- Spoiler:
No choco abuse, no FC abuse, no treasure planning (I forgot getting treasures added score, ok?), first tour really had bad luck with maps (went through at least 4 water areas) and right clicked on 3 gates too soon by accident. With insufficient attack boost to kill mobs faster with Lux and Lios things didn't go as I wanted in the last areas, but thankfully sword rain made red gates pretty trivial. Can conform with rank 2 until C.S. puts something else of value in Arcantus because, for cheetos' sake, it's just sitting there with no attention. And no pretuned parts were gotten during this quest.

Oh. In that case, I got a story. He whispered me 2 days ago, telling me that I was right about him having problems. Apparently his last two friends ended up hating him because of how annoying he was to them or something. I dunno. I was just laughing. Wish I screen'd the entire chat... ;_; |
