Accel World

Watched some of Accel World.

So far I find it uninteresting. It has little to no cutesy and adorable and Moe'-ness, and the action isn't good enough for me, and plus the characters aren't cool enough. Not going to watch anymore of it.

It's a really fast paced anime, you know. not exactly for the faint hearted /inside joke
But meh, whatever suits your tastes.

Not all good stories have good characters.

He's entitled to his own opinion. If that's how he evaluates anime, then he's free to dismiss any series which fails to reach his own standards, I suppose?

The story was not mentioned, though.

I'd have to agree here. If you only watched the first episode of Madoka Magica, you'd have no clue what type of anime it actually is. The real storyline starts around episode 4

But I'd have to agree, you shouldn't count this anime out so soon. The first few episodes were just introducing the world and Brain Burst and the other characters, along with trying establishing a clear fact that Haru has little to no self-esteem.
