Hi all! Just an average new user who started Cosmic Break the Sunday before last. Been kinda shyly hovering around both the community areas and in-game itself. Noticed this subforum just now, though, so I thought I'd just pop out a word to say hi.

I'm not too complex of a person. Primarily a gamer with interests in a lot of different genres (mostly shmups). Was always a fan of the Armored Core series as well, so when a friend approached me about a game that combined the nature of the third-person customizable mecha game with the essence of another of my favorite games, Gadget Trial, I had always held some remote interest. It finally bud to the point that I joined in. And thanks to wonderful and helpful players that I've met (some whose names I even recognize here!), it's been a very enjoyable first week.

Can't actually go to my room and play games, Mom. Computer's either in my office or across the hall from my room. Distinct advantage of telecommuting is that you have a lot of liberty with how you can pass time during a lunch break.

I'm part of the DOS union. Firepower is where it's all at!

You can usually catch me wandering around through Central and Ground at random points in the day. I've personally a penchant for heavy Artillery bombardment, but since they're all so slow, I'll probably be walking in my Mach Knight or Mighty Byne Girl (which are the only Air and Land I truly use) between quests/missions.

Hi LostOne! Not too much is up, least not out of the ordinary. Days go by pretty slow and uneventful in these parts. Haven't been keeping up on the dream diary, either, so nothing's to say about how bizarre the nocturnal world has been, either.

I actually did spot you in Dostrex Area yesterday, but about the moment I did, you sped off as Dracken and... as far as I could tell you were lapping around Dostrex Area. I had no chance to catch up on my puny Sandworm LG, so I waited for you to finish the lap... only for you to disappear into the air mid-jump. Waaa. Next time I see you, I'll muster up the courage to actually say "Hi" first.

XD you should have done that in the first place. The moment someone says "Hi" to me, my attention instantly snaps to them. When I have nothing productive to do / am bored, I'll run randomly around the Dostrex Lobby. I do different routes based on what I do, and when I'm lapping around the Dostrex Lobby, it means I'm waiting for a match to begin ;3

I'll be glad to join in friendship, Gerrion, should we cross paths. Also keep an eye out for a Wootree because I tend to be riding in that one now, since finding the BD. Luck is so fickle on Arcantus - today I just got 3 SP Lotto Cubes in just one area. Unfortunately, didn't even get anything new from them (but at least I didn't *miss* anything new like that Mecha Jetter Girl/Toybox duo I missed once!)

I'm glad my jamming was memorable, IncuSlave. Still getting the hang of running support, but I've found Squidol Girl to fit very comfortably for me, as an Art defender. Sit with Burst Fire to help them plow through either the PS or the enemy forces, and have a handy disable and slow for those pesky Lands that try to stop the assault. Very bad anti-air, though, at least with what I have for armaments.

Very interesting ritual, Astral, and I'll keep that in mind about greetings. If I'm matching, since I tend to prefer opening with my Mach Knight, I'm usually sitting on the... volcano? Fire Stack? Torch Basin? Well, the flame-spouting spire in the center! Because you need to fly up there. But I sit on the edge because sitting on fire is not a usually wise move. There's actually a nice variety of Air bots that go up there - I don't think I've seen two of the same bot simultaneously yet.
