Barbaric and inhumane.

| In one word: Chaos. These conflicts are having no sense anymore... They take their vengeance one after another and this is the cause of chaos. This war will never stops if it keeps like this... I know that some soldiers feel under pressure and do crazy things like this sometimes, but damn... It really comes from people who do not respect the Human Rights... | |

| It's very sad that this happened. Needless killing is a terrible thing because lives were lost with no reason other than pure uncontrollable whims. - Quote :

The article never said that he acted clearly though, as reports in the article suggested that "the soldier might have been drunk, or had suffered a nervous breakdown". While the former gives him a bigger guilt, as he could have avoided getting drunk while at duty in a foreign country with the respect of the USA on his shoulders, the second one is also common due to psycological trauma in enemy territory, and the soldier couldn't control what he did. Imho we should wait till more of this comes into view. Throwing blames or cursing the soldier without knowing exactly what happened seems rash. Btw Astral, where did you got the second quote? I haven't found it in the article...

Btw Astral, where did you got the second quote? I haven't found it in the article... It's off of another website article. I'll post the link if you want to see it, but it's just the same stuff with a few different sentences.

| Prosecuting that dude using the treaty-stipulations gonna sucks...well that on my own PoV
human rights is just another political tool to favor some of the few.
the best way to deal with that situation...
find that offender, chop his hands off, nail those chopped hands in the government office door, then shoot that bloody bastard on a public square. let all to see such, coz that's an exemplary method.
then let that be an example to all who abuse their so called authorities or rights.
i dont give a damn shit whether its a peace corp or what
Killing non-combatants are no excuse especially in an armed-conflict.
NO ONE IS EXCUSE
coz bastards like those, freakin' warshock, trigger-happy idiots don't deserve to see the next day

>Human rights >Political tool HuhwhatIdon'twhatisthis Human rights are given to "all" human beings (or at least the idea of it); it's not just a select few. And they're certainly not used as a "political tool". Don't believe me? Go look at a few U.S. Supreme Court cases and come back to me. You call that an "exemplary" model for capital punishment? That's no better than torture. And you obviously don't know how traumatizing shell-shock can be.

It is too soon to say this man can't be forgiven. Although he did commit genocide on innocent victims, he should still be punished regardless.
