Auto Beam Rifle

So, I've got an ABR that I've been using for ages. Now that Milays 'n' company of really OP bots are here, I find that the straight line shooting approach doesn't work, because some feg is going to blast me out of the air the moment I get close...

So, help on using?

I've seen Seraphs with ABR/Buckler. Sounds like a bad idea IMO.

What's wrong with buckler?
It's probably the only thing that will protect you when you are flying for it's cost...
Unless you use crossraptor arms.

well, becuz mialy shoot 4 blast railgun with short charge time...
most air weapon is too risky to use against her, slayerbit should works against most art, but when you get close enough, mialy bit will stalk you till death and it's petty much imposibruu to kill the bits alone with one main weapon, pray there enough teammates wich is willingly to kill those bits

Well, Seraph wings make ABR a pain to use while weaving, which is why I rely on mini bazooka half the match.

So, shooting tips for ABR?

Spray it.
Or if that doesn't work, shoot better. If you're flying forward, adjust your aim down slightly to compensate, etc etc etc.

And no, shields of any kind are a complete waste of time on Airs. Considering you're going to fly into an area thick with missiles and bazookas and that these weapons almost always have 20+ Force, blocking...what, 60 HP with that shield is a waste of time. Seraph Wings takes care of missiles and bazookas are slow enough to dodge. You need only worry about Psyguns, specifically Le Reve and Alba HD.

I use WBG instead of ABR on my Seraph. Works a lot better because it's a heck of a lot easier to hit.

Most Mialy users can't aim for shit with the railgun, they only know how to let their pursuit bits loose. If you have 28+ FLY, I'm pretty sure you can dodge the blast if you're good with reflexes and dodging.

dodging bit is not hard, but dodging bits while hundreds projectile and missile coming after you is a bit diferrent, while we have our hand full just for evasive manuver, enemy can have easier time to blast your distracted seraph apart, and sometimes got stalked by 6 bits at once already like a death sentence for most air..

As long as you don't have high ping or a really crappy rig, or the bits chasing you doesn't go stupid all that much, you can dodge their fire with much less than that.
You don't need reflexes either to dodge their fire. How to dodge them then? Circle them instead of being them going around you.
It sounds kinda stupid, but that's how it goes.

AG blaster's range is 240, while abr's is 300 not mention most of S-air wp with 2x high shooter can hav tat range.

Till kill mailys as air hit and run,Only run when bits are on you. If you have 38 fly you can out run em shoot wile there not in range,fly more shoot,fly more shoot. This is gona be a pain in the ass even serion hd and thorla am takes a wile to take em out fly over to team mates so they can take em out if your getting hit by em your not flying fast or smart enuff. Then go back and kill the fucking maily for wasting your time.

If your useing abr it needs certain ams to do good with the right ams its still surprisingly good tune for its speed.

You kill tbg and maily the same get right above there heads at high altitude and pelt a shit storm on em.The one psyhic cs does right is high ground = edge.

Firekiller is a idiot.

ABR isn't likely to hit at max range against a moving target with half decent speed. AG could care less. I don't see how that could be missed in the comparison.

But then I use an untuned ABR. Been considering trying tuning its one tune slot for speed.

Seems like everyone just gets High Shooter tune. 10% range and 10% bullet speed.

I ran out of tune slots for my seraph since I use Laz legs and Bgale Booster and don't got 3s of them... so I just went and stuck a High fly tune on my gun which got me to 40 fly.
Did this before I realized from reading forum and stuff that you only need 38 fly.
Too lazy to get another 42 rt and spend it on an ABR. Rather roll for stuff.

Anyways, If you are willing to spam your ammo. You actually have a pretty good chance of hitting anyone not using boost run or lag teleing. ABR fires like a beam gun...
This is like you saying, oh don't use bazooka cause you won't hit anyone with it at max range.

ABR is bad. Just use Plasma Gun or BSM if you have a lot of UC to spend. Both of these are miles better.
