I quit

Been fun but honestly this forums is too hard to fix

with all the disgusting Sex talk and peoples horrid attitude towards each other, this crap is so hard coded into the very nature of this forum it is impossible to get rid of.
I set out with the idea of trying to please everyone, foolish of me i learned quick not to bother. alot of stuff in this forum goes unreported, people complain to me saying why isn't such and such this when they don't even bother to report what this person did wrong, large amount of reports are just "necro Post". there are a few people who did some good reports, AnTi90d was giving some nice explained reports, Blead was good in his job of keeping the guides sections organised and when nihil was here he was the best damn reporter the forum had.

the overwatch as a whole failed to meet its mission statement, generally only 2 or 3 people making consistent reports and generally it was just to say that someone necro'ed a topic or that someone quoted without removing an image, the overwatch could have used more guidance.

anyway i'll still be here on the forums, after all i have friends here who i still want to talk to though i no longer have the responsibilities to the forum so i am free to say as i please now.

Dang, that sucks. You were an awesome Admin, Iron. Glad to hear you'll still be around. I really don't blame you for quitting, it's gotten pretty vulgar around here.

I find it rather puzzling why anyone (particularly eso) would want to administer or even moderate a MMO forum, especially one that has been rotting for a very long time (and infested with weeaboos)... well, aside from kids who have no understanding of responsibilities of course.

Word of advice for anyone who is thinking of applying for admin position, unless you have a very well thought-out plan on how to restructure the moderation process and ruleset of the forum in a way that can effectively deal with both the mentally crippled and the asshole elitists both at the same time in a fair but firm manner, don't bother.

ie. Don't bother, period. If Eso and IronDicks can't do it, neither can you.
